when you're born again, you no longer have a human heart. You are now part God and part human, like Jesus. Christians are called the "Godman". what are natural humans like? They have a need for unconditional love and to be valued for who they are. It's a vacuum that only God fill with the baptism into the Holy Spirit. In that need for value they put themselves above and make themselves the head. They do this through fighting. They fight and kill to be number 1 and for their families to be number 1. "Always looking out for number 1", is the motto. This means people pursue their personal welfare and safety first. God is not first with them. People in their self-pleasing ways, are into self-pleasure. Pleasuring self by teasing the senses. Sex is the biggest thrill in life. Orgasm! Natural people having not the Spirit are sensual.
When you get born again and the Holy Spirit enters your human body, He gives you a new heart and gives you a new human spirit by living inside it. To be alive in the spirit realm means for you to live inside the creator's Spirit. Like a fish out of water, when God's Spirit departed from Adam and Eve, their spirit died and became non-existent. When you get born again, God doesn't resurrect your human spirit, He gives you a new spirit and then lives inside it to make it alive. OK, so that's what Christians are like. they have a new heart, a new human spirit with God living inside it in their body.
That new heart has desires to pout God first, or, to please Him above self-pleasure. Before people got born again and baptized into the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus, they were sensual. They lived to please themselves through the pursuit of self-pleasure. This lifestyle is the sign of the spiritually dead, sensual, having not the Spirit inside them. They may believe in Jesus, but they are not born again and baptized into the Holy Spirit because when you are, you deny self, personal pleasure and live to please God through obedience contrary to pleasing self with pleasure. TRue born again and Spirit filled Christians are not pleasure seekers. They are God pleasers.
