Personal Insights:


"I've lived in both Los Angeles and North Dakota, spending 38 years in Los Angeles and about 10 years in North Dakota. According to the 2024 census, the entire state of North Dakota had a population of 768,568, while the city of Los Angeles had a population of almost four million. The Greater Los Angeles area, which includes Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County and Ventura County, had a population of nearly 20 million.


To put this into perspective:


  • The Greater Los Angeles area has a population 25 times larger than the entire state of North Dakota.

  • The city of Los Angeles alone has a population six times greater than the entire state of North Dakota.

  • The population of California is almost 40 million, which is 52 times the population of North Dakota.
