credit & reward

dependent on God's love for me not my obedience or righteousness. God is getting me to heaven because He loves me, not because I deserve it. I keep trying to obey God and I miss it. Every time I miss it, I learn more how to obey. But the reason that I'm going to heaven is because the Lord loves me. me going to heaven has nothing to do with my obedience. It is God's love. I miss it more than I obey the Lord. But that's what makes God take me to heaven. the Holy Spirit teaches by way of reminding me of scripture that says, "When I am weak then am I strong. God's grace is sufficient". The more we fall away trying to obey God, the more God saves us because He loves us. The most important thing to remember about being under grace like this, is the blood of Jesus. Cos when you sin, God gets mad, but the sacrifice of Jesus satisfies His wrath, and He helps us conquer sin with the Holy Spirit.

the holy spirit does the loving we do the dying

The Holy Spirit obeys the Lord in us, and we get the reward for it on judgement day because it's being done in our bodies. But He gets the credit.

example, evil desires for sex. Today I had the choice to do this, but I said no, and the Lord responded and said, "You conquered your evil desire". But looking back, it wasn't me, it was the Lord. He was putting me to death for about a couple years since I got married. Today I have victory over my flesh. It is self-control that I never had in the past. The fruit of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is growing His fruit in me.

For God to use us, a human being, in the other realm, they have to be dead. Use scene of Gabriel using a dead man brought back to life. A man who committed suicide. We have to be dead for God to use us. This is what the Christian life is about. Dying and rebirth. Explain how we are dead with Jesus and resurrected in fellowship with the Holy Spirit. That Jesus' death and resurrection mean that God uses the dead.

what does it mean to bear fruit?

to obey God where you used to sin. to conquer your evil desires. to grow in the Lord where you die in the flesh. where you used to have problems obeying God, now you obey the Lord through the anointing.
