To Sit at the Feet of Jesus and Hear His Word Is the Will of God
Luke 10:38-42 Authorized (King James) Version {Paraphrased} 38 Now it came to pass, as they went, that {Jesus} entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received Him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word. 40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to Him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. 41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: 42 but one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
Being distracted from the will of God, as Martha was, makes us unprepared for the Rapture. As Martha was careful and troubled about many things, so to be unworthy of the Rapture is the same thing. Jesus described it as our hearts being occupied with partying and the cares of life.
Luke 21:34-36 Authorized (King James) Version {Paraphrased} 34 And take heed to yourselves {says the Lord Jesus}, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day {the Rapture} come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
If you want to make the Rapture, stay in the Will of God and sit at the feet of Jesus and hear His Word, instead of let the thorns of this life choke your faith. Sit at the feet of Jesus and Hear His word, then do it.
Luke 8:13-15 Authorized (King James) Version {Paraphrased} 13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy {says the Lord Jesus}; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. 14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. 15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
To Make the Rapture
Sit at the Feet of Jesus and Hear His Word
Instead of Party
Proverbs 4:20-27 Authorized (King James) Version {Paraphrased} 20 My {child}, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 {Guard} thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. 24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. 25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. 26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. 27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.
Knowing Jesus Is Better Than Marriage
Luke 20:34-36 Authorized (King James) Version {Paraphrased} 34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: 35 but they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead {Or, the Rapture}, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: 36 neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
