The devil wanted to become another "God". But Jesus said no to that. He taught us that to be a "god" means to become "like" God "as His child". Not to become like God as in "another God" ... the devil wants to be God, not His child ... it's about dying to become like God (Lk. 9:23) but the devil using self and pride to become like God. He got it wrong ...
The Lord says,
"Not your agenda! My agenda! Not your agenda! My agenda"!
Not pride in your abilities to be God. But through the anointing of the Holy Spirit to love God more than all. God is your Father, child.
The Holy Spirit says,
Romans 5:5

Matthew 10:37-39

The Lord is helping me write this message ... He made me to understand what He is talking about in becoming like the Lord. In another message That I have on this website, God told me that He is the only one that lives forever and to become like Him means to die to self and let Him live through you. To become like God means to live forever. Eternal life. To live forever means to die first. For God live inside of us like this would make us like Him, another Him, His child.
The devil puffs himself up and uses self and pride to become like God. So, He would be dead in self instead of becoming like God. God would have to be in control for us to become like Him because only he lives forever. For the Christian to become God's child, would be a continual death until only he alive in you ... so, the devil got it wrong.
I decided to try out some of the AI features on this website and it created the message in the link below about how to be like God ... but it diverts from the point that the Holy Spirit made about my initial message, i.e. that the devil is trying to be like God by becoming another God instead of being like God as His child ... you may read it ... AI's version tells people how to emulate God. But the Holy Spirit wants people to see that to be like God means to be His child not be another God ...
