Matthew 24
Modern English Version
The Destruction of the Temple Foretold
1 Jesus departed from the temple and was leaving when His disciples came to show Him the temple buildings.
2 Jesus answered them, “Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another that shall not be thrown down.”
Troubles and Persecutions
3 As He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?”
4 Jesus answered them, “Take heed that no one deceives you.
5 For many will come in My Name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled. For all these things must happen, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines, epidemics, and earthquakes in various places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 “Then they will hand you over to be persecuted and will kill you. And you will be hated by all nations for My Name’s sake.
10 Then many will fall away, and betray one another, and hate one another.
11 And many false prophets will rise and will deceive many.
12 Because iniquity will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
The Great Tribulation
15 “So, when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ {Dan. 9:27} spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), (NOTE: the abomination of desolation is when the Mahdi, the Muslim false messiah, erects The Black Flags of the Muslim religion in the Temple of Jerusalem to make it their headquarters - see video below, "The Coming Deception")
16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house.
18 Let him who is in the field not return to take his clothes.
19 Woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse in those days!
20 Pray that your escape will not be in the winter or on the Sabbath.
21 For then will be great tribulation, such as has not happened since the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be.
22 “Unless those days were shortened, no one would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.
23 Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe it.
24 For false christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
25 Listen, I have told you beforehand.
26 “So, if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert,’ do not go there; or, ‘Look, He is in the private chambers,’ do not believe it.
27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
28 Wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
The Coming of the Son of Man
29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days,
‘the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’ {Joel 2:10}.
30 “Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
The Lesson of the Fig Tree
32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: When its branch becomes tender and grows leaves, you know that summer is near.
33 So also, when you shall see all these things, you know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.
35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.
The Unknown Day and Hour
36 “Concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
37 As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark,
39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
40 Two will be in the field; one will be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken, and the other left.
42 “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord will come.
43 But know this, that if the owner of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not have let his house be broken into.
44 Therefore you also must be ready, for in an hour when you least expect, the Son of Man is coming.
The Faithful or the Unfaithful Servant
45 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master has made ruler over His household to give them food at the appointed time?
46 Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when He comes.
47 Truly, I say to you that He will make him ruler over all His goods.
48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master delays His coming,’
49 and begins to strike his fellow servants and eat and drink with the drunkards,
50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not look for Him and in an hour he is not aware of
51 and will cut him in pieces and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites, where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
God doesn't want us to know the day and the hour of Jesus' return in order to prepare us for the rapture, and He wants us to know the signs of Jesus' return to prepare us for the rapture.
Does God want us to know when Jesus is coming or not? Yes. Both. You can't predict the day or the hour, but the signs will tell you that He's about to return. Both of these insights prepare you for the rapture.
If you don't know the day or the hour, you'll be ready everyday at every hour. If you know that He's about to return, you'll start to prepare everyday at every hour.
In Matthew 24:32, 33 Jesus tells us when He's coming. He gives us all the signs preceding those two verses. We can discern the time that Jesus is about to return in by the signs in Matthew 24:1-30. In Matthew 24:36 Jesus says that we won't know the day or hour. We can know that His return is near and at the doors, but we can't know the exact day or the hour. Both of these insights prepare us for the rapture. So, there is no argument between knowing and not knowing when Jesus returns.
How to Prepare Not Knowing
Psalm 81:1-5
Modern English Version
Psalm 81
1 Sing aloud unto God our strength; make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.
2 Lift up a melody, and sound the tambourine, the pleasant lyre with the harp.
3 Blow the trumpet at the New Moon, at the full moon on our feast day.
4 For this is a statute for Israel, a decree of the God of Jacob.
5 This He ordained in Joseph as a decree when He went out against the land of Egypt.
I heard a voice that I had not known:
In the Hebrew Calendar there is a holy day called "Yom Hakeseh". In Hebrew this means "the hidden day". The day to begin the feast was hidden because it began when the new moon started. They never knew the exact day and hour of the new moon because they're not in control of lunar cycles. So, they celebrated it over two days in order to be ready to begin the feast so that they would not start on the wrong day. The day they celebrate after Yom Hakeseh is Rosh Hasanah and the Feast of Trumpets.
Who wants to miss the day and hour of Jesus' return and prepare for it on the wrong day, a day too soon or a day too late? You prepare for Jesus' return the same way that the Jews prepare for Rosh HaShanah on Yom Hakeseh. You don't know the exact day and hour of it, so you prepare for it everyday, at every hour, prior, in order to get the right day.
How to Prepare Knowing
Matthew 24:32-33
Modern English Version
The Lesson of the Fig Tree
32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: When its branch becomes tender and grows leaves, you know that summer is near.
33 So also, when you shall see all these things, you know that it is near, even at the doors.
Jesus tells us in these verses that we need to discern when He's coming back in order to prepare to meet Him. His point in this passage is not about "not knowing" the day or the hour. He's saying to get ready for His return by knowing that He's near and at the doors.
Knowing that Jesus is about to return; is near and at the doors, and also not knowing the exact day or hour, is how God prepares us for His return. To be ready for Jesus' return is Jesus' point in Matthew 24:45-47. You've got to prepare by discerning the signs and being ready everyday at every hour.
How to Prepare
Witness and Operate in the Spirit
Matthew 24:45-51
Modern English Version
What Does it Mean to Be Faithful?
Teach & Preach
Operate in the Spirit
At a time when I didn't understand what Jesus means by faithful in verse 45, the Lord and the Arc Michael spoke to me by prophecy and said that to prepare for the rapture means to stay in church, preach and operate in the Spirit. That's what it means to be faithful to God.
Arc Michael revealed to me first what being faithful to God means. He said that it means to operate in the Spirit. To operate in the Spirit means to operate in the gifts of the Spirit in a ministry at church, as described in 1 Cor. 12:1-11.
Michael spoke first and then later the Lord spoke to tell me what being faithful to God in order to make the rapture means. But let's start with the last first which in this case means God first because He spoke last to me about faithfulness.
Below is what the Lord taught me by prophecy last year in 2024 while I was writing for Him, or, fellowshipping with Him in study, prayer and worship.
"All that I require
{to make the rapture}
Is for you to stay in church and talk to people about Me.
That's what it means to be faithful"
{Heb. 10:24, 25/ Mt. 24:43-46}.
To be a ruler over Jesus' household and to feed them in due season means to be in church. This is talking about
being a pastor or worker in church feeding people God's word (Jer. 3:15/ Jn. 21:15-17).
The food of the human spirit is God's words (Jer. 15:16/Mt. 4:4/ 1 Pt. 2:2/ Heb. 5:11-14/
1 Cor. 3:1-3).
Teach God's word in church (Mt. 28:18-20) and
Preach God's word to the world (Mk. 16:15-20).
The Great Commission
Teach the Church God's Word
Matthew 28:18-20
Modern English Version
18 Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Preach Or, Witness, to the World;
Talk to Unbelievers About Jesus
Mark 16:15-18
Authorized (King James) Version
{Paraphrased}
15 And {Jesus} said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Stay in Church and Talk to People About Jesus
That's How to Prepare for the Rapture According to Jesus

Operating in the Spirit
1 Corinthians 12:1-11
Modern English Version
Spiritual Gifts
1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant.
2 You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led.
3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed!” And no one can say, “Jesus is the Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.
4 There are various gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 There are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
6 There are various operations, but it is the same God who operates all of them in all people.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to everyone for the common good.
8 To one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom, to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit,
9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,
10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues.
11 But that one and very same Spirit works all these, dividing to each one individually as He will.
At another time when I had trouble understanding what Jesus meant by "faithful" in Matthew 24:45, the Arc Michael was sent to fellowship and teach me God's word. He told me that to be faithful to God means to operate in the Spirit. To operate in the gifts of the Spirit is recorded above in 1 Corinthians 12:1-11.
Thus, to teach, preach and witness means to operate in the Spirit. This is what it means to be faithful to God, according to the Light. Have you ever been to a church service? Or, ever been to a ministry crusade? Along with teaching and preaching they operate in the Spirit. They manifest the spiritual gifts. They start laying hands on the sick, speaking in tongues, prophesying. They give words of wisdom and knowledge and discern spirits to cast out devils.
The same things happen on the road and in the field preaching to the world and witnessing to them about Jesus. The Spirit begins to manifest confirming the word with signs and miracles (Mk. 16:20).
This is what the Arc Michael calls being faithful to God. The teaching and preaching means to operate in the Spirit. This is what Jesus means by staying in church and talking to people about Him. The Holy Spirit will manifest, and you'll operate in the Spirit as you're being faithful to Him to teach the church and preach to the world.
To be faithful to God means to teach, preach and operate in the Spirit. This is what we Christians are to do to prepare for the rapture as we wait for the day of Jesus not knowing the day or the hour.
As you wait for the Lord to return at the last trump in the Feast of Trumpets (1 Cor. 15:52), which signals the beginning of the harvest for each year (see "Feast of Trumpets" below), not knowing which year it will be (Mt. 24:36, 42), you begin the feast. You teach, preach and operate in the Spirit until He returns.
I repeat the passage for your understanding,
Matthew 24:45-47
Modern English Version
The Faithful Servant
45 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master has made ruler over his household to give them food at the appointed time?
46 Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.
47 Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods.
The Feast of Trumpets
Timing:
In the Jewish calendar, the Feast of Trumpets is observed on the first day of the seventh month (Tishrei), which typically falls in September.
Agricultural Significance:
This timing coincides with the end of the agricultural year, when the final harvests of fruits and grapes were gathered.
Prophetic Meaning:
For many, this holiday serves as a prophetic type or symbol pointing toward the future gathering of God's people and the establishment of the Messiah's kingdom.
The "Last Trump"
1 Corinthians 15:52:
Paul writes, "...in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed".
Symbolic Connection:
The "last trump" here is interpreted by some to be a symbolic reference to the Feast of Trumpets, signaling the resurrection of believers during the rapture.
The Link Between Feasts and Harvests
God's Holy Days:
The holy days of Israel were often timed to coincide with agricultural events, such as the Feast of Harvest (late spring) and the Feast of Ingathering (fall).
Typological Fulfillment:
The Feast of Trumpets, falling in the final harvest season, is seen by some as fulfilling this pattern by prophetically signifying a spiritual harvest or gathering.
Summary
While the Bible connects the Feast of Trumpets with a time of harvest and the "last trump" with the rapture and resurrection, it does not explicitly state that the feast causes the start of the harvest. Instead, the feast is viewed as a prophetic symbol, or "type," that points to the eventual gathering of God's people at the end of the age.
Closing Comfort from the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit wants me to paste some messages from my message online here for you titled, "What Time Is Jesus Coming Back?" for your understanding. They are prophetic messages. God speaks in them to you about the rapture and Jesus' return so that you can prepare and be ready for that day.
God wants you to know that Jesus says in it that He will return at the last trump in the Feast of Trumpets during the first 1 to 3 years of the Islam's Mahdi's reign of terror in the Great Tribulation. It will be the beginning of the harvest that year. The beginning of a wedding that will be simulated in the sky, the beginning of the rapture ...
"I want My people to know when I'm coming.
I'm using you
{that's me, Darrin} {to tell them}
because you write what is told to you.
I'm coming on the last day of the Feast of Trumpets
{at the last trump of the Feast of Trumpets - 1 Cor. 15:51, 52/ 1 Thes. 4:16, 17 -
during the reign of the antichrist.
Not at the seventh trumpet in the Seven Trumpets of Judgement in Rev. 11:15-19}
when that one
is in control.
I'm coming within one (1) to three (3) years from when his reign begins.
Israel will keep the Feasts
{during his reign of terror or the Great Tribulation}.
It's going to be the beginning of a wedding
{Lk. 12:38-40/ Mt. 25:1-13/ Rev. 21:1-14},
That will be simulated in the skies.
They're going to see what they're doing in the sky.
They're going to hear Me call
{1 Thes. 4:16 - the voice of the Trumpet - Rev. 1:10, 11; 4:1-3}.
It's the beginning of the rapture
{1 Thes. 4:17}.
Read about the Feast of Trumpets.
It's going to be a party starting in heaven that goes to the end of the day and when night comes,
There'll be no devil at the end wishing for the chair of the Lord to reign.
I told you when I'm coming back.
So, you better be ready with your church.
Or I'm going to cut you in pieces and throw you in Hades with the devil"
{Mt. 24:48-51}.
NOTE what Jesus just said,
"It's going to be a party starting in heaven that goes to the end of the day and when night comes, there'll be no devil at the end wishing for the chair of the Lord to reign".
The party is talking about the wedding feast of the Lamb. It's going to go to the end of the day like the feast does at the last trump. In Israel, this feast is a wedding, every year. This implies that Jesus is going to destroy this world in one day when He returns (2 Pt. 3/ Rev. 19). Jesus is saying that the rapture and His return happen on the same day.
See? He's coming for us at the last trump in the feast of trumpets, which is a wedding ceremony in Israel. But He also destroys the devil after the rapture, which is the reason that Jesus is returning. Jesus first returns and does the rapture before He completes His mission to destroy the devil and this world.
Jesus gave more detail here about how long the time is going to be between the rapture and His return. It starts in heaven and goes to the end of the day. Sounds more like 7 hours, not 7 years. Apparently, while the wedding feast is taking place in heaven, the world is also being destroyed, so that when night comes, the devil is gone for 1000 years.
