Love Your Enemies

Updated: Dec 2, 2022

I am experiencing growth in the Lord these days. God told me something about kids and the Devil that is making me leave my enemies alone and to set my heart's devotion completely on Him.

Love The Little Children

Mark 9:36-50

Living Bible

{Paraphrased}

36 Then {Jesus} placed a little child among them; and taking the child in His arms He said to them, 37 “Anyone who welcomes a little child like this in My Name is welcoming Me, and anyone who welcomes Me is welcoming My Father who sent Me!” 38 One of his disciples, John, told him one day, “Teacher, we saw a man using Your Name to cast out demons; but we told him not to, for he isn’t one of our group.” 39 “Don’t forbid him!” Jesus said. “For no one doing miracles in My Name will quickly turn against Me. 40 Anyone who isn’t against us is for us. 41 If anyone so much as gives you a cup of water because you are ChristsI say this solemnly—he won’t lose his reward. 42 But if someone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to lose faith—it would be better for that man if a huge millstone were tied around his neck and he were thrown into the sea. 43-44 “If your hand does wrong, cut it off. Better live forever with one hand than be thrown into the unquenchable fires of hell with two! 45-46 If your foot carries you toward evil, cut it off! Better be lame and live forever than have two feet that carry you to hell. 47 “And if your eye is sinful, gouge it out. Better enter the Kingdom of God half blind than have two eyes and see the fires of hell, 48 where the worm never dies, and the fire never goes out— 49 where all are salted with fire. 50 “Good salt is worthless if it loses its saltiness; it can’t season anything. So don’t lose your flavor! Live in peace with each other.”

In this passage, Jesus starts off talking about little kids and ends it telling us to live in peace with eachother. I want you to see that God sees the full grown adult as a child. That's why He started off talking about little kids in this passage and ends this passage, telling adults to live in peace with eachother. God doesn't want us beating eachother because we, all full grown adults, are still little children. Jesus is saying don't kill little kids; full grown adults.

God showed me that adults are still children though their bodies are fully grown. I'm not talking about mentally disabled adults who have full grown bodies with the minds of children. Adults are children when it comes to dying.

I got this message by watching a movie on Netflix called "Awake" starring Gina Rodriguez. There was a car accident in the beginning of the movie where the scene showed a little girl going down into a lake immediately after the wreck. She was screaming and afraid to get hurt and die. And the Lord said to me,

"Don't kill children because all they'll do is say sorry".

I was thinking that the Lord was talking about little kids, like the girl in the movie. A preteen. Personally, I would die before I hurt a baby. Well, I understand now that Jesus is talking about adults. Namely, my enemies. The Lord showed me that like children, who act tough and start fights, when it comes to real danger and death like car accidents, or, pain and dying, that people, my enemies, are like that little girl screaming in fear not wanting to die.

I told the Lord that I could never kill a child because children are innocent and defenseless. I could not live if I killed a child. They don't know how to fight and they fight when they are safe. Well, that's how adults are too, according to Jesus in this passage. Adults start fights until it comes to death. Adults act like killers until it comes to death. They fight when they feel safe but when it comes to danger, they cheese up. Jail and prison straighten out most people. But death scares everybody straight (Eze. 28:9). Unless you're like me and lots of Christians who don't fear death because it's the passage to heaven; to be with God forever! Christians grow to a point when they want to leave this life to be with Jesus, just like Jesus wants to come for those in the Rapture who want to leave this life to be with Him (Lk. 14:26, 27). Jesus gave His life to live with us forever in heaven (Jn. 3:16). We give our lives so that we can live forever with Jesus in heaven (Rom. 12:1, 2).

God is showing me that people don't want to die and that my enemies are like kids when it comes to death. I love little kids. The Lord knows that I do, and He used my love for kids to make me not want to kill my enemies, though I have no plans to, because they are children afraid to die. This means that though your enemies try to kill you and may not regret that, they will scream "I'm sorry!" over and over in fear when it comes to death. If my enemies are like that little girl not wanting to die in a car wreck, then I'm not going to try and kill them, for the Lord. I couldn't kill a child. Even if it's an enemy, because full grown adults are still children, according to God.

Love Your Enemies

God is making me love my enemies because they're children. People are babies according to Jesus. Full grown adult capacities who fear dying, and things stronger than them. Jesus means that adults are inexperienced in death. So they're still children because experience and training takes the child into adulthood. But where we have no experience or knowledge to grow from, we are still children in that area.

Luke 6:26-38

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

26 {And Jesus said} Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets. 27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, 28 bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. 29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also. 30 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. 31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. 32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. 33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. 34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. 35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for He is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. 36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. 37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: 38 give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

When I was a teen, I was a devil worshipper. Freelance and self-appointed. I used to admire the Devil as a teen and still did (just ignoring it as I sought the Lord's Face) up to last week, because what I saw about the Devil is that he is always trying to manifest into our natural realm from the astral plane using objects: Human and animal bodies. Clones. Mummification. Dolls. Books. Ouija boards. Amulets. Heirlooms. Medallions. Spells. A spirit can possess any material object and manifest into the earth realm with it. That's what I liked about the Devil. That he was a power over the spiritual and natural realms. That is, up until last week when the Holy Spirit showed me that the Lord Jesus is that power and not the Devil.

The Bible is God's book to manifest through from the astral plane. If you keep reading the Bible, you're going to get saved and baptized into the Holy Spirit. What God wants to do with the Bible, is create a Body for His Spirit to live in as a Home. Which He has done. We are the Temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 3:15-17; 6:19, 20/ 2 Cor. 6:14-18). The Holy Spirit is our Home (Eph. 2:13-22). What the Devil wants to do is copy God when he manifests through his objects and make a home, a body of believers to also live in and manifest through. Spirits need a body to operate in the earth realm from the astral plane. Spirits, both God and the Devil, want not just one body, but a body of believers.

That's the goal of both God and the Devil in contacting human beings through objects. God made a body of believers, a Church, through the Bible. God wrote to us through prophets in books called the Bible. Satan wants to make a body of believers, a church, through objects.

Jesus is Lord in Both the Spirit and Earth Realms

Jesus has a body in the astral plane to operate on earth with. According to John, since His Resurrection, He can now disappear and reappear (Jn. 20). He can eat (Lk. 24:36-43) and fly (Acts 1:9-11).

The Lord Jesus is the eternal Word of God (Jn. 1:1-14). In John 1, John tells us that Jesus was God's Voice, or, the Word of God, before He became a man. He is God's speaker. He speaks for God. God is the Will. Jesus is the Word. The Holy Spirit is the Way. God the Father plans and wills. Jesus the Word speaks the Father's Will and the Holy Spirit creates what the Lord Jesus says for God the Gather.

God is that one with control in both worlds that I have been looking for all my life. God is a Spirit (Jn. 4:24) that lives in a human body (Col. 2:6-10) which gives him power over both worlds. The Devil is not sovereign like this. This truth is making me so that I'll never go back to devil worship. The Holy Spirit is helping me give my complete devotion to Jesus Christ by showing me this about Him, and, to not want to kill my enemies, even though I got no plans to. Can you see what we're talking about in this Post today? I hope it helps your spiritual growth as well on Jesus the Vine. Amen.

John 15

Living Bible

{Paraphrased}

1 {And Jesus said} “I am the true Vine, and My Father is the Gardener. 2 He lops off every branch that doesn’t produce. And He prunes those branches that bear fruit for even larger crops. 3 He has already tended you by pruning you back for greater strength and usefulness by means of the commands I gave you. 4 Take care to live in Me, and let Me live in you. For a branch can’t produce fruit when severed from the vine. Nor can you be fruitful apart from Me. 5 “Yes, I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him shall produce a large crop of fruit. For apart from Me you can’t do a thing. 6 If anyone separates from Me, he is thrown away like a useless branch, withers, and is gathered into a pile with all the others and burned. 7 But if you stay in Me and obey My commands, you may ask any request you like, and it will be granted! 8 My true disciples produce bountiful harvests. This brings great glory to My Father. 9 “I have loved you even as the Father has loved Me. Live within My love. 10 When you obey Me you are living in My love, just as I obey My Father and live in His love. 11 I have told you this so that you will be filled with My joy. Yes, your cup of joy will overflow! 12 I demand that you love each other as much as I love you. 13 And here is how to measure it—the greatest love is shown when a person lays down his life for his friends; 14 and you are My friends if you obey Me. 15 I no longer call you slaves, for a master doesn’t confide in his slaves; now you are My friends, proved by the fact that I have told you everything the Father told me. 16 “You didn’t choose Me! I chose you! I appointed you to go and produce lovely fruit always, so that no matter what you ask for from the Father, using My Name, He will give it to you. 17 I demand that you love each other, 18 for you get enough hate from the world! But then, it hated Me before it hated you. 19 The world would love you if you belonged to it; but you dontfor I chose you to come out of the world, and so it hates you. 20 Do you remember what I told you? ‘A slave isn’t greater than his master!’ So since they persecuted Me, naturally they will persecute you. And if they had listened to Me, they would listen to you! 21 The people of the world will persecute you because you belong to Me, for they don’t know God who sent Me. 22 “They would not be guilty if I had not come and spoken to them. But now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 Anyone hating Me is also hating My Father. 24 If I hadn’t done such mighty miracles among them they would not be counted guilty. But as it is, they saw these miracles and yet they hated both of Us—Me and My Father. 25 This has fulfilled what the prophets said concerning the Messiah, ‘They hated Me without reason.’ 26 “But I will send you the Comforter—the Holy Spirit, the source of all Truth. He will come to you from the Father and will tell you all about Me. 27 And you also must tell everyone about Me because you have been with Me from the beginning.
