Revelation 3:7-22
Modern English Version
The Hour of Temptation
The Message to the Angel of the Church called Philadelphia
7 “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write:
“He who is holy, He who is true, He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens, says these things:
8 I know your works. Look! I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it. For you have a little strength, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name.
9 Listen! I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie. Listen! I will make them come and worship before your feet and to know that I have loved you. 10 Because you have kept My word of patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation which shall come upon the entire world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
11 “Look, I am coming quickly. Hold firmly what you have, so that no one may take your crown.
12 He who overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My own new name.
13 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
The Lord sends this message to His church because He says this,
"I'm coming to test you before I return".
Jesus said,
"Tell them what I mean. Apply that {the bold case} to that {this His message that He's coming to test us}".
Jesus says that He's about to return. He says for me to put this up as a last attempt to get you to repent, because you're still partying instead of listening to your God. He says you have patience, but you have insulted His Name. He says,
"You need to repent before I come. The hour of trial {Jesus says to tell you that that's what temptation means in verse 10} is not the Great Tribulation. I mean that I will come to you inside, in your spirit, to test you to see if you want Me more than that, more than them."
"If you say no, I will write your name in My Book, off. You can no longer enter My Presence in heaven, which is where you are now {Jn. 14:3/ Rom. 14:17}. Now lay down and sleep, My most precious child of whom I have not left".
God asked me to connect Rev. 3:10 with His message in red above saying that He's coming before He returns to test us. But He did it through me in red above saying that He's coming to test your inner spirit man. I will say that that time is now ... God is dealing with the church of Philadelphia inside you ...
God wants to minister to you in this video ... watch it ... it's about repenting. This video is anointed, which means that the song is going to make you cry ... the man in this video died in 1982. But God still uses His music and anointing today. He asked me to put this video up with this message to use it to talk to you about repenting and death, that is, dying inside in the hour of trial today so that you might live again with God ... someone out there needs to repent today because this is the hour of trial before He returns ... someone out there needs to die ... it's time to die, but don't die forever in sin in the second death (Rev. 21:8). Die in Jesus and stay alive by repenting and be reborn from glory to glory (Rom. 6:1-14).
Romans 6:1-14
Modern English Version
Dead to Sin but Alive in Christ
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may increase?
2 God forbid! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
3 Do you not know that we who were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been united with Him in the likeness of His death, so shall we also be united with Him in the likeness of His resurrection,
6 knowing this, that our old man has been crucified with Him, so that the body of sin might be destroyed, and we should no longer be slaves to sin.
7 For the one who has died is freed from sin.
8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,
9 knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death has no further dominion over Him.
10 For the death He died, He died to sin once for all, but the life He lives, He lives to God.
11 Likewise, you also consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
13 Do not yield your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but yield yourselves to God, as those who are alive from the dead, and your bodies to God as instruments of righteousness.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under the law, but under grace.
