“Effective Time Management:
Delayed Preparation Leads to Ineffective Results”
Time Management - Preparing Later is Preparing Wrong
The Lord referencing the above video clip, says this in response,
"That's called preparing wrong. Do you know what that leads to? Missing the rapture. Prepare now".
Preparing for An Appointed Time
Daniel 8:19 Modern English Version
19 He said, “Listen, I will make you know what shall be in the final period of the indignation, for the end shall be at the appointed time.
The way to prepare for the rapture is to live in readiness and expectation. The concept of an "appointed time" for Jesus' return to get take us in the rapture emphasizes God's sovereignty and encourages believers to live in readiness and expectation, rather than attempting to predict the exact date.
True preparation for Jesus’ return is not about waiting until the time seems near, but about living each day in readiness and expectation. The concept of an “appointed time” for Christ’s return reminds believers that the exact day and hour are unknown. Therefore, we are called to begin preparing immediately, embracing a lifestyle of daily readiness and expectation. Delaying preparation, as illustrated by the man in the video, risks missing the moment. Let us heed this revelation and prepare our hearts now, trusting in God’s timing and living faithfully as we await the Lord’s return.
Matthew 24:42-51 (Living Bible) {Paraphrased}
Effective Time Management
Watch and Be Ready for the Thief in the Night
42 “So be prepared, for you don’t know what day your Lord is coming.
43 “Just as a man can prevent trouble from thieves by keeping watch for them,
44 so you can avoid trouble by always being ready for my unannounced return.
45 “Are you a wise and faithful servant of the Lord? Have I given you the task of managing my household, to feed my children day by day?
46 Blessings on you if I return and find you faithfully doing your work.
47 I will put such faithful ones in charge of everything I own!
48 “But if you are evil and say to yourself, ‘My Lord won’t be coming for a while,’ {So, I've got some time, then ..." - see 2 Peter 3:3-7}
49 and begin oppressing your fellow servants, partying and getting drunk,
50 your Lord will arrive unannounced and unexpected,
51 and severely whip you and send you off to the judgment of the hypocrites; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
In Matthew 24:42-51, Jesus calls His followers to live in constant readiness, reminding us that no one knows the day of His return. Just as a vigilant homeowner guards against unexpected trouble, believers are urged to remain watchful and faithful in their daily responsibilities. The passage warns against complacency and neglect, emphasizing that those who delay their preparation or live carelessly will face severe consequences when the Lord arrives unannounced. Instead, Jesus commends the wise and faithful servant who is found diligently fulfilling his duties. This teaching encourages us to embrace a lifestyle of daily faithfulness and spiritual vigilance, preparing our hearts for the Lord’s return with expectation and reverence.
The Faithful and Wise Servant - Daily Responsibilities
1 Thessalonians 5:1-9 Modern English Version {Paraphrased}
1 Concerning the times and the seasons {of Jesus' return}, brothers, you have no need that I write to you.
2 For you know perfectly that the day of the {His return} will come like a thief in the night.
3 When they say, “Peace and safety!” {in worship of Satan for his New World Order} then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape.
4 But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
5 You are all the sons of light and the sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep as others do. But let us be alert and sober.
7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, are drunk at night.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 For God has not appointed us to {His} wrath {when He returns}, but to obtain salvation {from it} by our Lord Jesus Christ {when He returns to save us from it with the rapture before He executes God's wrath on the sinners},
We know that there is an appointed time for Jesus to come back, but we don't know the exact day and hour of it. Instead of waiting for Christ's return to be at the doors to begin preparing for Him to come back, what does it mean to prepare? What are we to begin doing immediately to prepare for Him to come back? Jesus said in the above passage reference, Matthew 24:45, to "feed God's children". This is something that we need to do everyday to be ready for Him to come back and reward our diligent and faithful service.
To Feed God's Children Means to Disciple and Teach Them God's Word in Church Services
Matthew 28:18-20 Modern English Version
Teach God's Word
18 Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Hebrews 10:24-25 Living Bible {Paraphrased}
Disciple & Teach in Church
24 In response to all {Jesus} has done for us, let us outdo each other in being helpful and kind to each other and in doing good.
25 Let us not neglect our church meetings, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near.
To live by faith in Jesus' return means to get into church activities with God's children. Preach to the lost and bring them into church out of the world, then disciple and teach them how to be ready for Jesus' return.
This is what you do to prepare now instead of prepare later. You don't waste your time waiting for the last minute, because though you can know that Jesus is at the doors, you can't know the exact day and hour. thus, to prepare means to live in daily expectation and readiness by discipling and teaching God's children in church.
Embody a life of purposeful readiness, grounded in spiritual vigilance and unwavering devotion. Through active participation in the church community, we cultivate the strength and fellowship needed to serve God’s mission—preaching the gospel to the lost, nurturing disciples, and preparing hearts for Christ’s coming at any moment. Rather than waiting for the last minute, we are inspired to manage our time intentionally, living each day in expectation and readiness. In embracing this calling, we prepare ourselves and encourage others to walk in faith, hope, and joyful anticipation of eternity.

20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly.
Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
World without end. Amen.
