The Sabbath
Exodus 20:8-11
New International Version
8 “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.
9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
10 but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God.
On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns.
11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them,
but he rested on the seventh day.
Therefore, the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
"You Need to Keep the Sabbath Because It identifies You as One of God's People
To the World-System"
That is what God told me last year. Today, I woke up and as usual for Sundays, the Lord said to go back to sleep. I had to wash my cat bowls and feed them again. So, I also ate breakfast after I fed them, and wow was I hungry.
I know which day is the Sabbath because God tells me to rest on Sundays. Every Sunday He says the same thing to me, to sleep the day away. This means to rest on Sundays. I'm going back to sleep after I finish this message.
In my town, it's 12:15 PM. Central Standard Daylight Time (CST). I'm going to sleep in the middle of the day. I have plans on my calendar to take my cats to the park to play and then to go shoot my guns at the local range. But I'm going to reschedule that for a weekday next week. I will listen to the Holy Spirit and sleep all day today with my cats.
The Lord doesn't tell me to go to church on Sundays either. He tells me to sleep on Sundays. So, there are services to attend on Saturdays and the rest of the week that I can go to. The Bible doesn't say which day of the week is the Sabbath.
And there are issues about the authorities changing the Sabbath days. I don't listen to them. If I do, I'll be confused and misled because they keep misleading people by switching the Sabbath back and forth from Saturday to Sunday, and Sunday to Saturday. I listen to the Holy Spirit and please God when I do because He guides me into all truth.
Put God Before Your Job
When God said in Ex. 20:9, 10 to do no work on the sabbath, that means to put God before your job. If you have a job on Sundays, you need to revolve your life around God's word, not your job (Mt. 6:24-34). Quit working on Sundays to listen to and please God. Get a job that aligns with God's commands. Such as working 5 days a week, Monday thru Friday. Not 7. Don't work on the weekends.
Put God Before People and the Authorities
To listen to God is your avowed destiny as a Christian. Don't put the secular world before God. Don't put your relations with the world before your fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Don't listen to authorities who say that it's wrong to sleep in the middle of the day and wrong to not work on Sundays. On Sundays, stay home, eat, feed your household, and sleep all day, to honor the Lord. Don't go to church or to work. Go there on other days. Stay home and rest on Sundays.
I know that there is a debate over scriptures on which day is the Sabbath day, Saturday or Sunday. But God tells me to rest on Sundays, not on Saturdays. So, not from scripture, but from the voice of the Lord, I know which day is the Sabbath. My spiritual gifting to hear the Lord talk helps me understand scripture, because the Lord tells me the truth about scripture. Without the Holy Spirit people will not know the truth in the Bible.
1 Corinthians 2:6-16
New International Version
God’s Wisdom Revealed by the Holy Spirit
6 We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.
7 No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began.
8 None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9 However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived” [Isa. 64:4]—
the things God has prepared for those who love him—
10 these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
11 For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
12 What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.
13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, {interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual}.
14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God
but considers them foolishness,
and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.
15 The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things,
but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments,
16 for,
“Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” [Isa. 40:13]
But we have the mind of Christ.
Christian Jokes for Today
One of my gifts is humor. The Lord is always making jokes with me. So, today I have two jokes that God gave me that I'll share with you. Today, I turned on YouTube and watched one of my favorite preachers preach. Brandon Biggs and his Last Days YouTube program. He's prophetic like I am. So, I understand his gifting. I also watch Pastor Benny Hinn's YouTube programs because when I turn on his shows, it's a portal to the anointing and the to the Throne of God. I get anointed and the Holy Spirit anoints my heart and body. He heals and fixes me up so that I become happy and normal. Being with people doesn't do this like the anointing does. So, I'm going to watch his programs today as I make dinner later tonight after I sleep the day away.
Preacher Biggs always says the same thing at the opening of his YouTube programs, He yells, "Good morning, Family!" But I just woke up, and the Holy Spirit spoke Proverbs 27:14 to my memory (John 14:26), which says,
Proverbs 27:14
New International Version
14 If anyone loudly blesses their neighbor early in the morning,
it will be taken as a curse.

I made breakfast while I listened to preacher Bigg's latest video made 13 hours ago from noon CST today. After I watched his program, I switched to TBN and listened to Pastor Ed Young from The Winner's Walk Ministries preach as I ate breakfast.
While I was eating, Dr. Young quoted a scripture and said, "Jesus said, 'Not my will, but yours be done'". And that brought to mind my will. Not the moral agent, human free will to choose, but my last Will and Testament.
At my age, we think about will in terms of dying and leaving an inheritance to our children. So, not my will, but God's will ... so what do I do with my will?

I'm going back to sleep ...
God's Sheep Know God's Voice
John 10:3-4
New International Version
{Paraphrased}
3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for {the shepherd}, and the sheep listen to his voice.
He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them,
and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.
Interestingly, when I finished the message and clicked on the Windows tab to shut down until later, there was a command from God in the Power Options. In between "Lock, Shut Down and Restart", it said "Sleep" ... and I clicked on it ... that word "sleep" was God's voice commanding me to go sleep ...
God Told me to Get Up at 4 PM (CST)
I got up and made soup. After I ate, God gave me another joke that I made back in 1999. I was watching TBN. Pastor Allen Jackson from Allen Jackson Ministries was on. He was talking about Jesus redeeming us from the Laws of Moses. He quoted Galatians 3:13,
Galatians 3:13
Authorized (King James) Version
{Paraphrased}
13 Christ {has} redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us:
for it is written,
Cursed is everyone that {hangs} on a tree: {Dt. 21:23}.
The punchline is that the verse says, "cursed is everyone that hangs on a tree". Imagine that ... anyone who hangs on a tree is cursed. Back in 1999 when I made this joke, I was witnessing to my roommate and I quoted Galatians 3:13 to point out the same thing that Pastor Jackson did with Galatians 3:13, to say that Jesus redeemed us from the law of the Old Testament with His crucifixion.
When I read that verse to my roommate and he heard, "cursed is everyone that hangs on a tree", he stopped me and laughed. He thought that it meant that if he goes and hangs on a tree that he's cursed. I see the George of the Jungle monkey swinging from branch to branch on a tree. That's what I see in my mind when I hear that verse. "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree". So, if I decide to go hang on a tree, I'm cursed?
George of the Jungle is an old cartoon from the 70's about a monkey that's off the air now ...

Seriously, what Galatians 3:13 is talking is the Cross. It means cursed is everyone who hangs on a Cross. The Cross is a symbol of death. People that die on Crosses are cursed by the law to die for breaking the law. The Cross was made from wood and wood comes from trees. So, God gets to the essence of everything and calls it a tree. No, you're not cursed if you hang on a tree.
Freedom from Legalism
Colossians 2:6-23
New Living Translation
Freedom from Rules and New Life in Christ
6 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him.
7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
8 Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual [principles] of this world, rather than from Christ.
9 For {in him dwells all the completeness of the Godhead bodily}.
10 So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.
11 When you came to Christ, you were “circumcised,” but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision— {the cutting away of the body of the flesh; your sinful nature}.
12 For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead.
13 You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins.
14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.
15 In this way, {he stripped off} the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.
16 So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths.
17 For these rules are only shadows of the reality yet to come. And Christ himself is that reality.
18 Don’t let anyone condemn you by insisting on pious self-denial {or worshiping with angels} saying they have had visions about these things. Their sinful minds have made them proud,
19 and they are not connected to Christ, the head of the body. For he holds the whole body together with its joints and ligaments, and it grows as God nourishes it.
20 You have died with Christ, and he has set you free from the spiritual {principles} of this world. So why do you keep on following the rules of the world, such as,
21 “Don’t handle! Don’t taste! Don’t touch!”?
22 Such rules are mere human teachings about things that deteriorate as we use them.
23 These rules may seem wise because they require strong devotion, pious self-denial, and severe bodily discipline. But they provide no help in conquering a person’s evil desires.
I read this passage years ago and I understood it to mean that the law to keep the Sabbath in the Old Testament died with Jesus and we now have freedom in Christ under the New Testament from keeping it.
The Lord told me that it means that we are complete in our union with Christ, not by keeping the law of the Old Testament (v. 10) because God forgave us for breaking the Sabbath. If God forgave us, no one can condemn us for not keeping it. That's what verse 16 is talking about in context from verse 10. We're forgiven. We are free in Christ under the New Testament from sin, and the death that comes from sin, or breaking the law.
Verse 15 is talking about the devil and the evil principalities and powers of the darkness of this world condemning us to hell for breaking God's law and the Sabbath. It means that the devil used the death that comes from sin under the Old Testament to condemn us.
God's Old Testament system of law was the devil's device to accuse us of sin before God, day and night, because justification with God was not given by the law. It came in the New Testament when Jesus died for our sins. The law evoked our evil desires because our nature was evil and not holy. The law came from God's holy nature which we as the dead did not have. So, all that happened as we tried to obey the law, was see that obeying the law doesn't make us right with God because it doesn't remove our evil desires. It was just rules. No way back to God. Jesus is the way back to God which came under the New Testament.
The Gospel of Repentance and New Birth
God forgave us through Christ's sacrifice for our sins on the Cross and God doesn't condemn us no more when we sin. That's what 1 John 1:9, 10 means. We're forgiven and under grace to help us stop sinning (Rom. 6). So, when we sin, we confess it, repent and move on growing in grace to learn how to not sin anymore. There is no more death over sin for the reborn and anointed Christian.
Verse 14 is talking about the Ten Commandments and the Laws of Moses. This law was given to us by God to show that we have a sinful nature (Rom. 3:9-28). The law is holy, and it takes a holy nature to obey it. When people live by the law, they continually break the law because the law was given to show that we can't keep it because we have a sinful nature, not a holy nature (2 Pt. 1:2-4). That, we need God's help to.
Jesus took away the law of the Old Testament by fulfilling it then dying for our sins, or breaking it, and forgave us by His death. Christ's blood forgave sin past, present and future (Rom. 3:25). Now, we are free from the penalties of sin by Christ's sacrifice for our sins. We are not condemned to hell if we break the laws because God has forgiven us.
And because God has forgiven us, the devil can't our sins against us. Christ, as v. 15 says, defeated the devil and the ruling principalities and powers by His public death on the Cross. They're disarmed and got nothing to use against us. Defeated by Jesus' blood.
The conclusion of this passage in verse 23 says that the old-world laws seemed like the way to God, but they could not conquer our evil desires; our sinful natures and sinful ways. In fact, they evoked them (Rom. 7). This implies to make laws for yourselves that sanctify and put to death your sinful ways and lifestyle.
Now that you have the Holy Spirit inside you, you now have power to stop the sins that used to take you to hell and which the devil used to accuse you of being good for nothing but to be burned like a dead and unfruitful tree (Jn. 15:6).
If you have problems listening to God, use the Holy Spirit's power to crucify, or mortify; put to death, those ways. Do what gets you right with God. The Old Testament couldn't do this because we didn't have the divine nature in Christ to do this which we now have today in the baptism into the Holy Spirit which comes by confessing Christ. This is training to become godly (1 Tim. 4:7-9/ 1 Cor. 9:24-27/ 2 Tim. 2:1-7).
God in the Old Testament law showed us what holy is and that we can't obey it because we aren't holy. In the New Testament God shows us how to obey the law. Repentance and the new birth. Confessing Christ. This means faith in Jesus' blood for the forgiveness of sins past, present and future and the Holy Spirit baptism, which comes after confessing Christ, for the power to change and mortify those sins.
Thus, the laws of the Old Testament are not done away with in the New Testament by the death of Jesus, the sinful nature is. Now we can live up to the holiness of the law of the Old Testament through the new, and divine nature in the Holy Spirit (2 Pt. 1:4/ Rev. 22:14). In fact, obedience to God's law; those who do God's commandments, gives us the right to enter the gates of the New Jerusalem a thousand years after the rapture.
All this means that under the New Testament, we grow in grace (2 Pt. 3:18/ Rom. 6). This means to learn how to obey the law by training your flesh with the new, divine nature we get in the baptism into the Holy Spirit.
To obey God's law is still required to be a citizen of heaven under the New Testament. Your sinful nature called "the bond of iniquity" (Acts 8:23) is crucified (Gala. 2:20) and the Holy Spirit is inside you and you now have a holy nature to obey God's holy law. This is done by training your flesh in the power of the Holy Spirit to do God's commandments (Rom. 15:13/ Zec. 4:6). God is telling me to keep the Sabbath, so I will.
I want to talk to you about verses 20-23 to give you understanding about being right with God through the sacrifice of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit to make you obey God's laws. These verses are saying that rules to get you right with God are unnecessary because Jesus obeyed the law for us and then died for our sins. What Jesus did for us combined with the power of the Holy Spirit are what justify us with God.
There're no rules that you can make to do this. You can worship God but the power to obey God comes from the Holy Spirit, not from worship or your manmade rules to worship God. What they are, are useless human attempts at obeying God. Paul in verse 22 calls them "mere human teachings that deteriorate as we use them". This means that they got no power to do what Jesus and the Holy do for us, that is, to conquer our evil desires and justify us with God. Mystical worship and devotion, pious self-denials and severe bodily discipline can't save you. Only what Jesus did and what the Holy Spirit does inside you can.
Thus, laws that got nothing to do with Jesus and the Holy Spirit are useless and vain to get you saved from your evil desires. You need God's forgiveness through faith in Jesus' death for your sins to justify you with God. No rules or obedience to them can make God forgive you. It is what Jesus did when He died for your sins that makes God forgive you. Your faith in Jesus' blood wipes your past sins clean, and you will no longer be condemned for sin as you go on in a new life with God. Jesus' blood forgives all sin for all time, past, present and future.
A disciplined and religious life got nothing to do with forgiveness for your sins. No matter how hard you are on training your body apart from confessing Christ, will never conquer your evil desires that God sends you to the second death for ... the laws of the Old Testament can't save you apart from faith in Jesus and the baptism into the Holy Spirit because they don't conquer your evil desires. You just see that you don't have the holy nature the law requires to obey them. Jesus and the Holy Spirit save us from sin, death and the lake of fire.
Revelation 22:14
New King James Version
{Paraphrased}
14 Blessed are those who do His commandments,
that they may have the right to the tree of life,
and may enter through the gates into the city {New Jerusalem}.
1 Timothy 4:7, 8
New International Version
7 Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly.
8 For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things,
holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.
1 Corinthians 9:26-27
New Living Translation
26 So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing.
27 I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should.
Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.
2 Timothy 2:1-7
New International Version
The Appeal Renewed
1 You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.
3 Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
4 No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer.
5 Similarly, anyone who competes as an athlete does not receive the victor’s crown except by competing according to the rules.
6 The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops.
7 Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this.
Colossians 3:1-11
New International Version
Living as Those Made Alive in Christ
1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.
6 Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.
7 You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.
8 But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.
9 Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices
10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.
11 Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.
Romans 8:1-14
New International Version
Life Through the Spirit
1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,
2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so, he condemned sin in the flesh,
4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
5 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.
6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.
7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.
8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.
9 You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.
10 But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness.
11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.
12 Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it.
13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.
14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.
The Reason I Wrote This Post Today
I'm going to Stop Eating Meat
I like animals. Women, children and animals are drawn to me. All the bugs and critters come to me for food and a house. So do women and children. It's God's Spirit that draws them all to me for help.
Meat comes from animals so today I am almost made up to stop eating meat because I like animals. St Francis of Assisi was anointed by God to help animals. I understand that. God may have used animals for sacrifice and to eat (see book of Leviticus), but I'm going to stop eating them because God draws them to me. not to eat them, but to help them.
Have you been hearing about the fake meat that stores are selling? It's counterfeit meat. The stories about the fake meat are on YouTube and other social media. People are selling fake meat. Meat comes from animals and maybe they're running out of meat in this crisis we're in. Meat by products. Plant based meat.
Some people are mixing crickets and worms together and calling it meat. Some stores are selling rubber food. The pesticides on the fruits and vegetables are turning them rubber like. Whatever the problem is, I got something picked out that I'm going to start eating instead of animal meat and this will avert all the crickets, worms and fake meat products being sold as animal meat. I don't want to share what it is because enemies in high places are reading these messages. But my point is that I'm getting out of the animal meat problems in stores.
The Blood of Jesus
Doubting Your Salvation
Going to Hell
God's Message to Me in 2021 After I Came Back to God from Backsliding
You Can't Miss the Rapture,
You Can't Go to Hell,
And You Can't Lose Your Salvation
Your Works Can't Condemn You No More
The Lord said this to me,
"Tell them about heaven. Heaven is a state of being. Not a place you go to. You're going up in the sky {in the Rapture} because you're already in the sky with Me. I picked you up and took you to My Throne, and that's where you're on your knees thanking Me for not leaving you in the Rapture. That's why you're going to make the Rapture, because I called you home. You have a few years left while I sanctify and mortify your flesh".
"Your spirit doesn't have to be in your body to live because you have Me. Once you get anointed and baptized in the Holy Spirit, you have My Spirit's Presence in your flesh. Now you can live and walk back and forth between heaven and earth. Between My Throne and your room".
"To be baptized in the Holy Spirit means you have God's Presence in you forever. That's your home. Not the New Jerusalem. Like I said, that's where I place My feet. It's My footstool. It's not the Home. When you say 'home', you don't mention 'footstool'. 'Footstool' is a place where you rest. That's not My home for you. That's My Throne room. Your home is in My Spirit".
"So, I'm making a place for you to dwell. Not to live in. My tent that I pitched with Moses, is the home that I showed to be for the Rapture. Your body's being raptured but not your spirit. Your spirit is already in heaven. You're spiritual beings".
"See? These people need to understand the Rapture. They think I'm talking about taking them home in a second when the sky clears of something. But what I'm telling them is that you could only come to Me, or, Home, in the Rapture, when you have My Presence, because when you have My Presence, that means your spirit is no longer with your flesh. It's part of My essence and who I am. So, now I am the one speaking in the Christian".
"So, you know now that you can't be put to death in the resurrection {the rapture - we can't miss the rapture} once you come before Me asking for My help {salvation}. You need to know this because you've been writing things that aren't true. People have been seeing that you're stuck in a guilt conscience saying that 'I might lose my salvation if I don't do this'. But I already said in My word long ago that everything you've done from childhood to the day of your death, is covered under My blood once you receive Me. So, there's nothing that you can do, except for the blasphemy of the Spirit, that's going to take you from Me. That's the only one that makes Me release My hand and let you go back to death and hades. That's where you belong when you insult the Spirit of Grace because He's done nothing wrong to you. He's done no wrong to you".
"Listen, you're under the Blood. Whatever you do is going to be reconciled {to God}. People outside of My Presence don't have that opportunity. Whatever they do is condemning them to eternal death. When you accepted My Son, I put you under My Son's Blood. Which means everything you do from here to eternity is under the Blood. That means you have no sin before Me. Even if it's the worst that you can do. To Me, it's never been done. So, you can't go to hell once you receive My Son as your savior. That's what Romans 10 is telling you. Once you confess Jesus as Savior and Lord, He becomes your Dad and He doesn't allow you to be hurt by the sting of death, or, Satan's tongue. That's what that means in the original Hebrew. Satan's tongue is what kills man".
"In simplest terms, it means that you'll come back to life from God's Spirit once you are anointed or touched by His Blood. The Blood of the New Covenant/ Testament is what I'm referring to. Not the Old. The Old was a house built to represent the Tabernacle God made with man to live in Him. Not in a tent made with hands".
"When Jesus Sees Me" (Michele Pillar - 1991)
"This Blood' (Carman - 1989)
World without end. Amen.
