Foreword

There are moments in a generation when God pulls back the veil—not to introduce something new, but to remind His people of what has always been true. The Anointing: When God Moves Beyond Methods is one of those reminders. It is a call back to the living God who cannot be reduced to formulas, rituals, or predictable patterns. It is a witness that the Holy Spirit still breathes, still moves, still heals, and still teaches—not as an idea, but as a living Presence.

Within these pages, you will not find theory. You will find testimony. You will find Scripture illuminated by experience. You will find the voice of someone who has walked with God long enough to know that the Spirit is not confined to human expectations. As the passage declares, “The anointing which you have received from Him abides in you.” And when God abides, He acts.

This work confronts a quiet assumption many believers carry—that God must move in the same way He moved before, that healing must follow a certain sequence, that power must come through a familiar method. But the Jesus of the Gospels refuses to be boxed in. He heals by touch, by word, by command, by distance, by faith, by obedience, and sometimes before anyone even asks. The early church witnessed the same freedom of the Spirit, and this writing boldly insists that nothing has changed. “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.”

What makes this passage compelling is not only its biblical foundation, but its vulnerability. The author opens the door to a deeply personal encounter—an unexpected baptism in the Holy Spirit, a moment when heaven touched earth without human orchestration. It is a testimony that challenges the reader to believe that God is closer, more active, and more willing than we often dare to imagine.

This foreword invites you to read with an open heart. Not to analyze, but to receive. Not to debate methods, but to recognize the God who moves beyond them. Let these words stir hunger. Let them awaken faith. Let them remind you that the Holy Spirit is not distant, silent, or limited. He is present. He is speaking. He is moving.

And for those who have longed for more—for a faith that is alive, for a walk with God that is real, for a Christianity that breathes—this writing is a gentle but powerful whisper:

The same God who moved then is moving now.

The Anointing: When God Moves Beyond Methods

There is an anointing from the Holy One, and it is not a concept—it is the living presence of God resting upon a surrendered life. “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know.” (1 John 2:20) “The anointing which you have received from Him abides in you.” (1 John 2:27)

Many have been taught that healing must always come by the laying on of hands because Scripture records it. Yet Scripture also records, again and again, that God heals without hands—by a word, by authority, by obedience, by faith, and even at a distance. God is faithful to what is written, but He is not bound by a legalistic approach to what is written. “The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” (2 Corinthians 3:6)

When You Are Anointed, Healing Can Happen Before Hands Are Laid

When the anointing is present, people can be healed while they are still waiting for prayer—before anyone touches them—because the Holy Spirit is already moving. This is not new. This is the pattern of Christ.

Jesus healed without laying hands on people.

He healed by a word at a distance. The centurion said, “Only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.” (Matthew 8:8) Jesus answered with authority, and Scripture testifies, “And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.” (Matthew 8:13)

He healed before He arrived. To the nobleman whose son was dying, Jesus said, Go your way; your son lives.” (John 4:50) When the father returned, he learned the healing had already taken place at the very time Jesus spoke. “So, the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Your son lives.” (John 4:53)

He delivered and healed at a distance. To the Syrophoenician woman, Jesus declared, For this saying go your way; the devil is gone out of your daughter.” (Mark 7:29) And the Word confirms, “And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.” (Mark 7:30)

He healed as people obeyed His instruction. To the ten lepers He did not lay hands on, but commanded, Go show yourselves unto the priests.” (Luke 17:14) And the miracle unfolded in motion: “And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.” (Luke 17:14)

He healed by forgiving and commanding—without touch. When the paralyzed man was lowered through the roof, Jesus spoke, Son, your sins be forgiven you.” (Mark 2:5) Then He released healing by command: Arise, and take up your bed, and go your way.” (Mark 2:11) And the man rose immediately. “And immediately he arose.” (Mark 2:12)

He healed by a simple command of faith. To the man with the withered hand, Jesus said, Stretch forth your hand.” (Matthew 12:13) And the Word says, “And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole.” (Matthew 12:13)

He healed those who cried out and believed—by a word. To blind Bartimaeus, Jesus declared, Go your way; your faith has made you whole.” (Mark 10:52) And Scripture records, “And immediately he received his sight.” (Mark 10:52)

He healed when faith reached for Him—without Him laying hands. The woman with the issue of blood said, “If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” (Mark 5:28) And the Word testifies, “And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up.” (Mark 5:29)

He healed multitudes through contact with His presence, not through His hands. “As many as touched Him were made perfectly whole.” (Matthew 14:36)

So, while you are waiting for prayer, do not waste the waiting. Search the Scriptures and feed your faith with these testimonies. “So, then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17) For it is written, “He sent His word, and healed them.” (Psalm 107:20)

The Human Vessel: A Gate for the Spirit’s Work

The Orifice of the Gods

I have seen that spirits move through people. Demons, angels, and the Holy Spirit operate through the human beings in whom they dwell. In that sense, the human body becomes an opening through which the spirit realm touches the natural world—an orifice.

This helps explain why the Holy Spirit can baptize and heal without the laying on of hands, and why Jesus performed miracles by the Spirit without always touching the sick. The Lord was in the earth in the body of Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of God flowed from Him as He willed. It also explains why spiritual influence—holy or unclean—can be transmitted through proximity, presence, and contact, often without people realizing what is happening.

I have also learned that spirits can speak. At times, they speak in a way that reminds me of how Jesus spoke to me from the spirit realm, saying, “Welcome to the family.” This is received by clairvoyance: they speak to the spirit of your mind. You hear them in your head, not as a natural sound in the room, but as a spiritual communication impressed within.

When spirits are operating within people, supernatural things happen. The Holy Spirit can manifest through a person and touch another. Demons seek to do the same through those who yield to them. Angels also minister according to the will of God. Much of this occurs unseen, but it is real.

Clairvoyance (defined): Clairvoyance is spiritual sight and perception—an inner knowing or seeing by the spirit, where a person receives impressions, visions, or understanding from the unseen realm rather than through the physical senses.

A Personal Testimony: Baptized in the Holy Spirit (1991)—Jesus Baptized Me, Not Man

I was baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1991, and it did not happen in the traditional way many expect from Scripture—through the laying on of hands. It was non-traditional according to the Lord’s way. That day, I was alone with God, and Jesus Himself baptized me in the Holy Spirit.

I was in a church building by myself as a visitor. The chaplain was there only to keep the doors unlocked. He was on the phone, and I was looking through Christian magazines to take with me and read later. A couple of other men were on the other side of the building—praying, studying the Bible, or working—likely the chaplain’s helpers. So, the only people present were church workers, and I was the only visitor.

But the Holy Spirit was there, and the Lord Jesus was there.

While the chaplain continued talking on the phone—unaware of what was happening—I saw, not with my natural eyes but in the Spirit, a luminescent streak of white light shoot from the chaplain’s belly to mine. In that moment, the Lord allowed me to see into the spirit realm. The chaplain did not know what had happened, but the Holy Spirit who was in him manifested and came into me through that moment.

When that light entered me, I felt as though I were floating. I felt the joy of the Lord, and I felt power come upon both of my hands.

No one prayed for me. No one laid hands on me. Yet I was baptized in the Holy Spirit.

After it happened, I became newly aware of the people in the building. As I glanced toward one man, he was looking at me, but no one saw what I saw, and no one knew what had taken place.

Then I looked toward the altar—something I had not even been focused on until that second—and I saw the Lord Jesus. He was dressed in white, and He wore what appeared to be a very long cape. The seams and collar looked like thick white leather, and the cape covered His body and filled the entire altar—large, ruffled, and majestic. I saw His Face from His mouth downward, and He had a great smile. Then I heard Him speak inside my spirit: “Welcome to the family.”

After that baptism, I also saw people getting healed outside churches and stadiums while they were waiting for meetings and healing services to begin. People were amazed, because they believed they had to approach the preachers, ask for healing, and have hands laid on them in order to be healed. But the Lord was showing me, by experience, that He is not confined to one outward method, and He is not bound to one sequence. What He does is written, but He is not controlled by rigid formulas.

For example, the book of Acts often shows tongues as a sign accompanying the baptism in the Holy Spirit: “And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues.” (Acts 2:4) Yet the Lord gave me healing power first. About a week later, I received tongues, and also the interpretation of tongues—gifts that Scripture lists among the manifestations of the Spirit: “To another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues.” (1 Corinthians 12:10) (See also 1 Corinthians 12:1–11; and chapters 12–14 concerning spiritual gifts.)

This is part of what it means to know God: not merely to read the Bible as information, but to be taught by the Holy Spirit through living fellowship with Him. But the Comforter, which is the Holy SpiritHe shall teach you all things.” (John 14:26)

Forgive Before You Pray: Keep the Flow Unblocked

If you desire the power of God to flow freely, you must guard the heart. Unforgiveness, strife, and disobedience grieve the Holy Spirit and hinder prayer.

Jesus said, And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone.” (Mark 11:25) And Scripture warns, “Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God.” (Ephesians 4:30) The Word also declares, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.” (Psalm 66:18)

This is why some who truly believe in healing still ask, “Why do I believe, yet I am not healed?” Because healing is not only about quoting verses; it is about faith meeting the living presence of God with a clean conscience and a surrendered life.

Healing Is Not Only Verses—It Is Faith and Anointing

It is possible to have Scriptures in the mouth and still lack the power of God in the life. “For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” (1 Corinthians 4:20)

Yes, the Word reveals healing. But the anointing destroys the yoke: “And the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” (Isaiah 10:27) Many know the letter and argue the method, yet do not know the Spirit who gives life. “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.” (2 Timothy 3:5)

Even after Jesus ascended, the Lord continued to heal without hands being laid on the sick.

People were healed as Peter’s shadow passed over them: “They brought forth the sick… that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.” (Acts 5:15)

People were healed through cloths carried from Paul—without Paul touching them: “From his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them.” (Acts 19:11–12)

These are not tricks. These are witnesses that the Holy Spirit is not confined to one outward method. The power belongs to God.

God Uses You Without You Knowing It — The Anointing in Daily Life

Many believers assume that for God to use them, they must always be “out witnessing” in a formal way. Yes—witnessing is commanded, and it is a joy to obey the Lord who lives within us. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.” (Matthew 28:19) And again, You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me.” (Acts 1:8)

But hear this with spiritual understanding: the anointing is not only for pulpits, altars, and scheduled meetings. The anointing abides—and because it abides, it moves. “The anointing which you have received from Him abides in you.” (1 John 2:27) Therefore, God can use you not only when you are intentional, but also when you are unaware—while you are simply living, breathing, and moving through your ordinary routines.

In the arena of prophetic intercession, I have learned this by experience: the Lord often reaches out through His people at leisure—at the store, the post office, the gas station, a restaurant, while visiting family, and even while sitting quietly at home. This is not imagination; it is Scripture. “In Him we live and move and have our being.” (Acts 17:28) And Jesus Himself promised, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20)

There are moments when the need around you is so great that the Spirit will draw from the anointing resting upon you—without announcement, without ceremony, and without your conscious participation. This is why Jesus could be touched in a crowd and immediately discern that power had gone out from Him. “Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, ‘Who touched My clothes?’” (Mark 5:30) For the woman testified, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” (Mark 5:28) And the Word records, “Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up.” (Mark 5:29)

This reveals a prophetic principle: when the anointing is present, virtue can flow. The vessel may not always perceive it at first, but heaven knows. And in certain seasons—especially when darkness increases and burdens multiply in a community—the Lord may allow His servants to feel the cost of that outflow. Scripture speaks plainly that spiritual labor can be draining. “And the hand of the LORD was upon me there.” (Ezekiel 3:14) And again, “The hand of the LORD was heavy upon me.” (Psalm 32:4)

For this reason, wisdom is required. Even Jesus, though full of the Spirit, withdrew from the crowds to pray and recover strength. “So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.” (Luke 5:16) There are times when I must guard my strength—because the spiritual demand is so intense it can feel like being “slain in the Spirit,” not in a meeting, but in private. In such moments, I must cover myself in prayer and spiritual discipline, because the anointing is holy—and the warfare is real. “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age.” (Ephesians 6:12) Therefore, “Put on the whole armor of God.” (Ephesians 6:11)

So, understand this: God does not only use you when you are speaking. He uses you when you are walking. He uses you when you are waiting. He uses you when you are unaware. And when He does, it is not to exalt the vessel—it is to reveal the nearness of Christ, and to testify that the Holy Spirit is still moving beyond methods.

What It Means to Know God: Baptism in the Holy Spirit

To know God is more than agreeing with Scripture. It is to be made alive by the Spirit and empowered by the Spirit.

Jesus said, You must be born again.” (John 3:7) And He promised power for witness and ministry: But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit has come upon you.” (Acts 1:8) The early believers did not only study promises—they received the Spirit: “And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:4) And with that infilling came the manifestation of spiritual gifts: “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.” (1 Corinthians 12:7)

But there is a deeper reality here: when God lives inside you, He is more intimate than anyone else, because everyone else lives outside your body. The Holy Spirit has taught me through experience—through living in His baptism—that this is what it means to know God. He is inside your body with you. He speaks to you. He makes you understand, because He knows you from the inside out.

This is why the Bible becomes more than words on a page. When you live with Him, He initiates contact with you. He brings conviction, clarity, and understanding. He illuminates what you read, and He teaches you what the Scriptures mean through fellowship with His presence. As it is written, But the Comforter, which is the Holy SpiritHe shall teach you all things.” (John 14:26)

So, knowing God is not merely learning verses; it is walking with the One who authored them. It is the Spirit of God within you making the Word of God alive to you—guiding, correcting, empowering, and revealing Jesus Christ in truth.

A Prophetic Charge

In this hour, God is calling His people out of lifeless religion and into living fellowship. He is raising believers who will not merely speak of miracles, but carry His presence. And when the Holy Spirit rests upon the one He has anointed, healing can manifest before hands are ever laid—by a word, by faith, by obedience, by the authority of Christ—because Jesus is the Healer.

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)

"A Message About Revival and Traditions" (Habakkuk 2:2)

Thus says the Lord,

As you have read this message "The Anointing", you are saying that there is a revival in the land. The Lord wants to talk to you about your divisions:

"Talk to him (Darrin), or hes going to leave. If he leaves, he wont lose his work. I told him to tell you about my anointing, because you have it. Its in you, but you stop it from flowing because of your traditions. Its your traditions. You wont have that revival if you keep your traditions." (Mark 7:8–9) (2 Timothy 3:5) (Acts 2:17)

"Im sorry for not sending Darrin back to California when I said I would. I want him to pray with you for a while before he leaves. If you want this revival, do what I say and stop demanding repentance for breaking your traditions. Dont listen to the police involved with them. Theyre not God or Jesus in human form, as they say they are. Listen to Darrin and youll have the revival everyones waiting for. If you dont, he will leave and so will I. I will close your church if I want. So dont take it lighthearted the way you are with him, because hes here for that reason, for this season." (1 Thessalonians 5:19–21) (1 John 4:1) (Matthew 7:15–16) (1 Corinthians 14:40)

"I want him to take charge, but he wont because he doesnt want you. Its your traditions stopping him from coming in and visiting. Youre very opposite of him out here in the plains of North Dakota. You want to kick his butt, but you wont because he has cops watching himso you wont. But he has something for your gifting in me." (Romans 12:6) (2 Timothy 1:6) (Proverbs 29:25)

Scriptures where Jesus condemns the traditions of men (NKJV):

  • Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?” (Matthew 15:3)

  • Thus, you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition.” (Matthew 15:6)

  • Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouthAnd in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’” (Matthew 15:7–9)

  • All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.” (Mark 7:9)

  • For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men…” (Mark 7:8)

  • “…making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down.” (Mark 7:13)

Behold Your Traditions — A Prophetic Reproof

The Lord Closes This Reproof — A Prophetic Warning Against Following Men and Exalting Authority Over Christ

Get rid of your teaching about following other men instead of Me.”

You want to help Darrin get a job, but you sound like the police. Your sermon has been indoctrinated by the police to make the police look like Me. These are just some of the things you do.”

I had him put these two to let you know hes hearing from Me”.

Epilogue — The Invitation: Know Him, Not Just Methods

What you have read is not an argument for a new technique. It is a witness that God is living, present, and free—able to move in ways that cannot be controlled by routine, personality, or tradition. The anointing is not a religious idea; it is the Holy Spirit abiding within the believer, making Jesus known in power and in truth. (1 John 2:20, 27)

God is near. Like the wind, you may not see Him with natural eyes, but you can recognize His reality by what He does—convicting, comforting, teaching, strengthening, and healing. (John 14:26)

1) Who is God, and who is Jesus?

God is the Creator—holy, righteous, and merciful—calling people back to Himself. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior, the Healer, and the Lord. He forgives sins, delivers the oppressed, and reveals the Father. He is not distant history; He is present King. (John 3:7; Hebrews 13:8)

2) Who is the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is God’s Spirit—God with us and God within us. He makes the new birth real, empowers believers to witness, and manifests the life of Christ through His people. (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4; 1 Corinthians 12:7)

3) What is the anointing?

The anointing is the abiding presence and power of the Holy Spirit resting upon a surrendered life. It is not performance. It is not hype. It is God acting—often quietly, sometimes suddenly—always according to His will and holiness. (1 John 2:27; Isaiah 10:27)

4) What does it mean that God moves beyond methods?

It means God is faithful to His Word, but not confined to human formulas. Jesus healed by touch, by word, at a distance, through obedience, and through faith—sometimes before anyone could explain it. The Spirit gives life; the letter without the Spirit becomes lifeless religion. (2 Corinthians 3:6)

5) Can healing happen before anyone prays?

Yes. When the Holy Spirit is already moving, people can be helped while they are still waiting—because the power belongs to God, not to a sequence. Faith does not waste the waiting; it feeds on the Word and expects the living Christ to act. (Romans 10:17; Psalm 107:20)

6) What do you mean by inward spiritual communication?

At times, God may impress words, conviction, or understanding within the heart and mind—not as a natural sound in the room, but as inward knowing. This must always be tested by Scripture and by the fruit it produces. (1 Thessalonians 5:19–21; 1 John 4:1)

7) What do you mean by “clairvoyance” here?

In this writing, the word is used to describe spiritual perception—an inner seeing or knowing that is not received through the five physical senses.

8) What is the main point?

The main point is simple:

God is alive. Jesus still heals. The Holy Spirit still teaches and empowers. And God is not limited to one method—He moves by His presence, by His Word, and by faith.

So read with an open heart. Guard your conscience. Forgive quickly. Stay close to Jesus. And do not trade living fellowship for lifeless form—because Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)
