The Resurrection Body

No doubt that the theme message from Jesus on this website is the Rapture. God gave me an insight into the Rapture body through a marriage passage, which body we who believe in Jesus will receive in the Rapture.

Matthew 19:3-9

Living Bible

{Paraphrased} 3 Some Pharisees came to interview {the Lord} and tried to trap Him into saying something that would ruin Him. “Do You permit divorce?” they asked. 4 “Don’t you read the Scriptures?” He replied. “In them it is written that at the beginning God created man and woman, 5-6 and that a man should leave his father and mother and be forever united to his wife. The two shall become one—no longer two, but one! And no man may divorce what God has joined together.” 7 “Then, why,” they asked, “did Moses say a man may divorce his wife by merely writing her a letter of dismissal?” 8 {The Lord} Jesus replied, “Moses did that in recognition of your {unforgiving} hearts, but it was not what God had originally intended. 9 And I tell you this, that anyone who divorces his wife, except for fornication, and marries another, commits adultery.”

Before we relay to you what God said to us by prophecy to explain this passage, the point is in v. 6. God is talking about an eternal unity with a wife. He said,

"...and be forever united to his wife".

The Rapture is almost here and so we need to prepare for it. Anything that is eternal in the Bible comes after the Rapture. Every Christian that has ever lived will be in the Rapture. When we rise from the dead Jesus says in v. 6 that we will be united with our wives forever in it.

I asked Jesus what this means, and this is what He said to write.

"Write this" says the Lord Jesus,

"This is the new flesh that I will make for you. You will have one heart with the same unity that you had with your spouse when you were living. This will give you the ability to love others. This is what I meant when I said that the two shall become one", said the Lord Jesus, maker of heaven and earth and who makes you two one in unity to unite you from death in the Rapture.

An eternal unity...the two shall become one body in the resurrection. Sweet Jesus. This is how special a wife is. You thought you were going to rise from the dead in your own body separate from your wife's, like you were in the land of the living. You will be one body united forever in the unity you had with your wife when you were in the land of the living.

So, read these passages on the Rapture with this in mind, that you and your wife are becoming one new body when you rise from the dead...

1 Corinthians 15:50-57 Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased} 50 Now this I say, {Christian brotherhood}, that {physical} flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God {because it's a spiritual kingdom within the Holy Spirit - Lk. 17:20, 21/ Rom. 14:17}. Neither does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I show you a mystery. We shall not all {die}. But we shall all be changed {physically}, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump {Rev. 10:11-15}. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we {who are alive when this happens} shall be {immediately} changed {physically with the dead}.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory {Isa. 25:8}. 55 O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? {Hos. 13:14}

56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law {the Torah of Moses - the first five books in the Old Testament - see Rom. ch. 7}. 57 But thanks be to God, {whom} gives us the victory {over death in the Rapture} through {faith in} our Lord Jesus Christ {Jn. 3}.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased} 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, {Christian brotherhood}, concerning them which are {dead}, that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope {in the resurrection of the dead-because you will see your dead Christian loved ones again}. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose {from the dead}, even so them also {i.e. your dead Christian loved ones} which {died} in Jesus will God bring with Him {when He returns - Jd. 1:14/ 1 Thes. 3:13/ Rev. 19}.

15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are {dead}. 16 For the Lord {Jesus} Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice and trump of the archangel {Gabriel - the angel of death}, and the dead in Christ shall rise first. 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up {"rapturo"-Latin Vulgate} together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord {Jesus} in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Scripture Passages on the Rapture Body

1. 1 Cor. 15:50-57/ 1 Thes. 4:13-18 The Rapture is the resurrection of the dead.

2. Lk. 14:14 The resurrection of the dead is the resurrection of the just.

3. Acts 24:15/ Rev. 20 The Rapture is the First Resurrection.

4. 1 Cor. 15:50-57 A new spiritual body, not of flesh and blood.

5. Mt. 22:23-33/ Lk. 20:34-36 A new spiritual body like the angels that can never die.

After the Rapture, or the resurrection of the dead, we will no longer be getting married. We will be sexless like the angels. However, the spouse you married and had sex with, in this life, will become one new body with yours in the Rapture, or, the first resurrection.

6. Phil. 3:20, 21 From vile to glorious.

World without end. Amen.
