2 Timothy 2:15-18
Authorized (King James) Version
{Paraphrased}
15 Study {the Bible} to shew thyself approved unto God,
a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing {what the Bible, the} the word of truth {says about the resurrection}.
16 But shun profane and vain babblings
{about it and stick with what the Bible says}:
for they will increase unto more ungodliness
{because what they teach are babblings and are not in the Bible}.
17 And their {false} word will eat {your spirit man} as doth a canker {worm the fruitful tree}:
of whom is Hymenæus and Philetus;
18 who concerning the truth {about the resurrection} have erred,
saying that the resurrection is past already;
and overthrow the faith of some.
According to vv. 17, 18, Hymenæus and Philetus erred in their Bible studies about the resurrection and overthrew the faith of many believers saying that the resurrection had happened already. Today, this spirit of error; the spirit of the antichrist, is still saying that the resurrection has already happened and overthrows the faith of many sincere believers.

On Denying the Incarnation
1 Dear friends,
do not believe every spirit {within preachers},
but test the spirits {inside them} to see whether they are from God,
because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God {inside preachers}:
Every spirit that acknowledges {through the mouth of the preacher}
that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,
3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God.
This is the spirit of the antichrist {inside them},
which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
4 You, dear children,
are from God and have overcome them,
because the {the Holy Spirit} in you is greater than the {serpent} who is in the world.
5 {The false prophets} are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world,
and the world listens to them.
6 We are from God,
and whoever knows God listens to us;
but whoever is not from God does not listen to us.
This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of {error and} falsehood.
The Rapture Happens on the Day That Jesus Returns
Jesus Does the Rapture After He Begins His Descent from Heaven
Back to Earth While He is Still in the Sky
But the rapture can't happen until the Lord returns. So, know this from your Bible studies, so that your faith can't be overthrown because the rapture happens on the day that Jesus returns. Your faith cannot be overthrown if you know that the rapture happens on the same day that Jesus returns.
Let's examine the scriptures; do a Bible study about the rapture as Paul says to in 2 Tim. 2:15, to see with scriptures, which the Holy Spirit has fed to my memory (Jn. 14:26), that the rapture happens on the day that Jesus returns.
Matthew 24:29-31
Authorized (King James) Version
{Paraphrased}
The Return of Jesus
29 {And Jesus said} Immediately after the {Great} Tribulation of those days
shall the sun be darkened {solar eclipses},
and the moon shall not give her light {lunar eclipses},
and the stars shall fall from heaven,
and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven:
and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn,
and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
The Rapture
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet,
and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds,
from one end of heaven to the other.
The Rapture Happens on the Day That Jesus Returns
You can see in v. 30 that Jesus first appears in the clouds of heaven before in v. 31 that He sends His angels to gather His elect with the sound of a trumpet. The trumpet is the sign of the rapture in scripture.
For example, in 1 Cor. 15:52 and 1 Thes. 4:16 they both say that a trumpet sound begins the rapture. Thus, in Mt. 24:29-31, Jesus is saying that when He returns that He'll call the church to the sky to meet Him with the sound of a trumpet after He begins His descent back to earth on the clouds. He will be on the clouds, in the sky, when He sounds the trumpet. The church will be raptured to meet Jesus in the sky (1 Thes. 4:17).
Immediately after the trumpet blast, as the Bible in 1 Cor. 15:51, 52 teaches, the church will be raptured to meet Jesus in the sky in the twinkling of an eye and then in that same twinkling will also return with Him to burn this world, as 2 Pt. 3 describes, and kill it, as Rev. 19 describes. Jesus begins His return with the rapture of the church in the clouds and then completes it with the church. All in the twinkling of an eye.
Today's False Teaching
Pre-Tribulation Rapture
Today's false teaching that will overthrow the faith of sincere believers in Jesus is that the church will be raptured before the Great Tribulation happens. This false prophecy will overthrow their faith because they will not be raptured when the Tribulation begins. They will be in great pain because they will go through the Great Tribulation. The false prophecies about a pre-tribulation rapture will overthrow their faith when the Tribulation begins because there will be no prior rapture.
In Mt. 24:29 Jesus says that the rapture in v. 31 happens after the Great Tribulation and not before. V. 30 denotes that it happens on the day that Jesus returns. This teaching does not denote a post-tribulation rapture teaching because of Christ's words in v. 29 saying, "Immediately after the tribulation". Christ's word immediately denotes that the Tribulation, the signs of the times and Jesus' return all happen at the same time.
This word immediately given by Christ in v. 29 means a mid-tribulation rapture. It gives a word picture of Jesus returning during the devil's reign of terror. During the tribulation and the terrors in the sky. Jesus ends the reign of terror with His return as 1 Thes. 5:1, 2 and 2 Thes. 2:1-8 teach. This biblical teaching of a mid-tribulation rapture explains other teachings from Jesus about His return implying a mid-tribulation rapture. Such as Mt. 25:1-13 and the midnight call to the rapture.
Matthew 25:1-13
New International Version
{Paraphrased}
The Parable of the Midnight Cry
1 {And Jesus said} “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins
who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise.
3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.
4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.
5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
6 “At midnight the cry rang out:
‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’
7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps.
8 The foolish ones said to the wise,
‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’
9 “‘No,’ they replied,
‘there may not be enough for both us and you.
Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’
10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived.
The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet.
And the door was shut.
11 “Later the others also came.
‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’
12 “But he replied,
‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’
13 “Therefore keep watch,
because you do not know the day or the hour.
Jesus in v. 6 definitely teaches a mid-tribulation rapture saying that at midnight the call to heaven will happen along with 1 Thes. 5:1, 2 and 2 Thes. 2:1-8. In fact, 1 Thes 5:1, 2 and 2 Thes. 2:1-8 imply what that midnight darkness is ... the devil's reign of terror in the Tribulation.
The following excerpt is taken from my message, "The Midnight Cry", in the Click Me after the excerpt,
The Lord Jesus Prophesies to the Church Today,
"This is not My Gospel that you are preaching.
You are saying that My coming is imminent.
I did not say that I can come at any time.
I said I'm coming at midnight".
"This is the point I'm to make with this letter here on My son's {Darrin} webpage,
that you call the crab's den.
This means you don't believe in our preaching, in our teaching, in our tools".
"What I'm to tell you tonight is that you're wrong about Jesus' return being imminent.
He didn't say
'I could come at any time'.
He said,
'I'm coming when this world is asleep'.
That means you're not going to be prepared".
"I'm only coming for those in the Light.
When they're asleep, they're sleeping with Me
{1 Thes. 5:10}.
I know who I'm coming to get.
But you don't,
and this is the reason why you're saying it's imminent
because you don't know when it's going to happen.
That's what I mean when I said,
"You're in the dark if you don't know the day of My return'".
"My return isn't imminent.
It's prophesied to come when the world is at its darkest.
That's when antichrist is going to be ruling supreme as supreme ruler in your realm.
My realm is full of blessings.
That's why I'm to come when its night.
You can't see Me approach.
But I can see you in the clouds.
So, I know who I'm coming to get.
Their eyes are on Me in the Word.
Those preachers and teachers that teach that I'm coming when you're unprepared, is My preaching tool".
"Now light up this world with My love and tell them that I'm coming when you're not aware.
And sing that song Amazing Grace.
This is the song that was sung to Me on the day of My burial",
The Archangel Gabriel Speaks About the Midnight Cry
Message Dated,
December 22nd, 2022, at 10:32 AM (CST).
On April 30th, 2024, at 4:00 AM, The Archangel Gabriel got me on my recorder and took me back to 2022 in messages not written yet...this is what the Archangel Gabriel says for the Lord about the Midnight Cry,
"This Bible that we have, is missing a lot of important statements from the Lord Christ. He didn't say to "watch for His return until the Day dawns". He said that He's coming at night. This is what that preacher wrote that you told him, that, God's about to come back in the worst times in the world.
To the world, it's going to look like heaven on earth because the antichrist is going to say that he's God, and he's going to have this world in a state of bliss and euphoria. The Bible calls it "Peace and Safety" {2 Thes. 5:3}. There's going to be a World Unity. No more war. Everybody's going to be prospering in business, and everyone's going to be happy because there's going to be no more fighting".
"But the Lord said that, is evil. He calls those "the days of darkness" just before His return. The world isn't going to be about God or believing in Him and preparing for the rapture by preaching. They're going to be living in secular peace and safety. Thinking that Christ has returned in the antichrist. That's the darkness! The Lie! The Bible calls it a lie. That's the darkness Jesus is talking about".
"So, we think that when Jesus said that when He returns the world's going to be in darkness, they think that it's talking about suffering. But the antichrist is going to look like God by removing war and suffering and make a one world unity, and that, is what God calls 'darkness'".
Now that you know the truth from God, His angels, the Bible and me about the resurrection or the rapture, your faith cannot be overthrown by the false prophets in the pulpit today, can it? But let's further with the Holy Spirit and the word examine what the wrath of God is that we are raptured from.
The Great Escape from God's Wrath
The Purpose of the Rapture is to Rescue Believers from the Coming Wrath
On the Day That Jesus Returns
The Bible teaches that with the rapture that Jesus saves the Church from God's wrath that is poured out on the day that Jesus returns. The False Prophets call the Great Tribulation the Wrath of God. All the suffering that people go through in the Great Tribulation they call God's wrath that Jesus with the rapture saves them from. It's called a Pre-Tribulation rapture. But scripture calls the Tribulation the wrath of Satan, not the wrath of God (Rev. 12:7-17).
The false prophets teach falsely that God pours out His wrath in the Great Tribulation and that Jesus saves them from it with a pre-tribulation rapture. They are confusing the suffering of the Judgements in the book of Revelation chapters 8, 9, 14 & 16 with the wrath of God that is poured out by Jesus on the day that He returns (Rev. 19:15).
People don't want to go through the suffering of the Great Tribulation. But the church will go through the Tribulation according to Rev. 7:9-14. The church will be killed by Satan in his wrath during the Great Tribulation (Rev. 12:17).
The Great Tribulation is not the wrath of God nor the judgements in Revelation chapters 8, 9, 14 and 16. The primary focus of the Great Tribulation, as described in Daniel and Revelation, is on events concerning Israel and the unbelieving world, including the rise of the Antichrist and widespread judgment, not on the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
People that believe in a pre-tribulation rapture can be lied to by the antichrist about missing the rapture or that the rapture has already happened, because their false teaching is that there is a seven-year period after the rapture until the return of Jesus called the Great Tribulation. But the Bible teaches that the rapture happens after the tribulation and in the twinkling of an eye on the day that Jesus returns, doesn't it?
So, according to the Bible, you can't miss the rapture and walk around regretting it, can you? Because the rapture happens in a second when Jesus returns and then the world is destroyed by Jesus and you immediately after the rapture, right? So, there can be no missing the rapture or living to regret missing it, right?
The only people that will be hurt about missing the rapture will be those who believed in a pre-tribulation rapture because it will never happen. There will be no pre-tribulation rapture, according to the Bible, right?
They will be hurt; their faith will be violated, their faith will be overthrown, because they will think that the rapture happened and that they missed it and were left behind when the rapture actually happens on the day that Jesus returns after the tribulation, still yet to occur in their future. Those left behind in the rapture will be destroyed immediately after the rapture by God and those who make the rapture. In the twinkling of an eye.
Jesus Returns Like a Thief in the Night
On the Unbelievers to Destroy Them
Matthew 24:43-47
Authorized (King James) Version
43 But know this,
that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come,
he would have watched,
and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44
Therefore be ye also ready:
for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant,
whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
Luke 21:34-36
Authorized (King James) Version
34 And take heed to yourselves,
lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting,
and drunkenness, and cares of this life,
and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
1 Thessalonians 5:2,3,9
Authorized (King James) Version
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety;
then sudden destruction cometh upon them,
as travail upon a woman with child;
and they shall not escape.
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath,
but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 Peter 3:10-18
Authorized (King James) Version
{Paraphrased}
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night;
in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise,
and the elements shall melt with fervent heat,
the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved,
what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy {living} and godliness,
12 looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God,
wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved,
and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to {Jesus} promise {to return},
look for new heavens and a new earth {after He returns},
wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved,
seeing that ye look for such things {to happen soon},
be diligent that ye may be found of {Jesus when He returns}
in peace {with Him}, without spot, and blameless.
15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord {Jesus} is salvation {for the world};
even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 as also in all his epistles,
speaking in them of these things {about the resurrection};
in which are some things hard to be understood,
which they that are unlearned and unstable {in Bible study} wrest,
as they do also the other scriptures {because they don't study the Bible},
unto their own destruction.
17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things {from Bible study} before {they happen},
beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked
{not studying the Bible about the resurrection},
fall from your own stedfastness {in the truth about the resurrection which comes from Bible study}.
18 But grow in grace, and in {knowing of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ {through Bible study}.
To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
What About Revelation 3:10?
Revelation 3:10, 11
Authorized (King James) Version
{Paraphrased}
10 {And Jesus said} Because thou hast kept the word of my patience,
I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation,
which shall come upon all the world,
to {test} them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly:
hold that fast which thou hast,
that no man take thy crown.
It's a Simple Answer with Scripture
You've Got to Study the Bible to Know
Because the Bible Interprets Itself
(2 Pt. 1:19-21)
Lk. 21:34-36 is the Answer to Rev. 3:10
Luke 21:34-36
Authorized (King James) Version
{Paraphrased}
34 {And Jesus said} And take heed to yourselves,
lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting,
and drunkenness, and cares of this life,
and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always,
that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass,
and to stand before the Son of man.
The context in the verses around Lk. 21:34-36 is Jesus' return. The return of Jesus is also the context of Rev. 3:10, 11. In Lk. 21:35 Jesus calls His return a trap for the unbelievers across the globe. In v. 36 Jesus says to watch for His return and to pray always to make the great escape from God's wrath that He will execute on the day that He returns. If you watch and pray to make the escape in the rapture from God's wrath, you will otherwise stand before Jesus when He returns instead of lie slain (Rev. 19:17-21).
The common denominator in Lk. 21:35 and Rev. 3:10 is a global catastrophe. The wrath of God in the return of Jesus. But false teachers will say that Rev. 3:10 is talking about a pre-tribulation rapture saying that God will keep the church from the Great Tribulation called "the hour of temptation" or tribulation.
Heb. 12:12 says that patience is the answer to tribulation. "Be patient in tribulation" instead of faint from it (Heb. 12:5). But Rev. 3:10 and Lk. 21:35 aren't talking about the Tribulation, but about Jesus' return, a worldwide catastrophe or, the wrath of God.
So, there will be no pre-tribulation rapture. The suffering of the Tribulation is the wrath of Satan against the church, and we will go through it. There is no escaping the suffering of the Great Tribulation. But we will make the great escape in the rapture from God's wrath on the whole world after the Tribulation on the day that Jesus returns.
I want to close with some prophetic utterances on my website from Jesus about mid-Tribulation rapture.
The Lord says,
"Get your house ready, for this isn't your real home. I'm Christ. I'm coming for you in the Tribulation. Read about the Tribulation. You're going to see the Lord coming in it. Read Matthew chapter 24. That's telling you the timing."
"I'm coming in the Great Tribulation. Not before, or, after. This is what I'm teaching to My student, Darrin. In his Prophecies To Come page, you're going to see the time about Mid-Tribulation, and you won't believe it at first until you study the scriptures. And My Holy Spirit will reveal to you the insights that I gave to him. When you see what he says, you'll understand what I'm saying,"
The Angel of the Lord said,
"God told me to tell you when He's coming back. It's Mid-Tribulation. So, get ready to be beat and killed by the warriors from the East and the North. That's Russia and Islam".
A Closing Word from the Holy Ghost
Food for Thought
Something to Think About
Something to Take to Heart and Memorize,
The Lord wants to say the single scripture that states that the rapture occurs when Jesus returns is 1 Thessalonians 4:16, because it begins by saying that "the Lord shall descend from heaven" to do the rapture and the dead in Christ rise first.
The Lord Jesus first descends from heaven in His return, then blasts the trumpet and the rapture happens in Christ's decent back to earth while he is yet in the sky in His descent back to earth, called the Return of Christ and the Second Advent of Christ.
1 Thessalonians 4:16
Authorized (King James) Version
{Paraphrased}
16 For the Lord {Jesus} himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel,
and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Jesus begins His return and does the rapture in His descent
Thus, the Lord's return and the rapture are one event. Both events are surmised in this one verse. The Lord Jesus returns from heaven and does the rapture in the twinkling of an eye while He is returning and is yet in the sky.
The return of Christ and the rapture are two separate events that occur on the same day at the same time making them one event. They're one event because the rapture happens so fast. Thus, the last trump signals both the return and the rapture of the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:51-52
Authorized (King James) Version
{Paraphrased}
The Return & Rapture of Jesus the Son of God
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery;
We shall not all {die},
but we {both the living and the dead in Christ} shall all be {morphed at once},
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,
at the last trump:
for the trumpet shall sound,
and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,
and we {believers who are alive and remain until this event;
the return of the Lord}
shall be {morphed into new spiritual bodies with the resurrected dead in Christ}.
What Is the Rapture?
1 Thessalonians 4:17
Authorized (King James) Version
17 then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,
to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
The word rapture is a Latin word in the Latin Vulgate Version of the Bible from 1 Thes. 4:17. It is one word that surmises the term "caught up" in the verse. The word is "rapturo". It means to be caught up into the sky. This is where we get the word "rapture".
The rapture is when the Lord Jesus catches us up with Him into the sky in a moment on the day that He returns to save us from the wrath of God that He will execute when He reaches the earth immediately after He does this.
The Greek word for the term "caught up" in 1 Thes. 4:17 is the word "harpazo". It means the same thing as the Latin word "rapturo". "to seize, carry off by force, to snatch out or away". This is a word picture of Jesus in the sky taking us from the earth when He returns. He seizes us, carries us off into heaven and snatches us out of the earth. So, that's where we get the word "rapture". It's a Latin word.
The Rapture is the Resurrection from the Dead
Luke 20:34-36
Authorized (King James) Version
34 And Jesus answering said unto them,
The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
35 but they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world,
and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
36 neither can they die any more:
for they are equal unto the angels;
and are the children of God,
being the children of the resurrection.
The Rapture Is the Resurrection of the Just
Luke 14:13-14
Authorized (King James) Version
13 But when thou makest a feast,
call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:
14 and thou shalt be blessed;
for they cannot recompense thee:
for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
The Rapture is the First Resurrection
The Resurrection First and Last
The First Resurrection and the Second Death
Revelation 20:4-6
Authorized (King James) Version
{Paraphrased}
4 And I saw thrones,
and they sat upon them,
and judgment was given unto them:
and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus,
and for the word of God,
and which had not worshipped the beast,
neither his image,
neither had received his mark upon their foreheads,
or in their hands;
and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.
This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection:
on such the second death hath no power,
but they shall be priests of God and of Christ,
and shall reign with {Christ} a thousand years.
The Second Death is the Last Resurrection
When God Formally Sentences the Dead to the Lake of Fire
Revelation 20:5, 11-15
Authorized (King James) Version
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.
This is the first resurrection.
11 And I saw a great white throne,
and him that sat on it,
from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away;
and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead,
small and great,
stand before God;
and the books were opened:
and another book was opened,
which is the book of life:
and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books,
according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it;
and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:
and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.
This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
The Rapture is the Redemption of the Body
Romans 8:18-23
Living Bible
{Paraphrased}
18 Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory {God} will give us later.
19 For all creation is waiting patiently and hopefully
for that future day when God will resurrect his children.
20-21 For on that day thorns and thistles, sin, death, and decay
—the things that overcame the world against its will at God’s command—
will all disappear,
and the world around us will share in the glorious freedom from sin which God’s children enjoy.
22 For we know that even the things of nature,
like animals and plants,
suffer in sickness and death as they await this great event.
23 And even we Christians,
although we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory,
also groan to be released from pain and suffering.
We, too, wait anxiously for that day when God will give us our full rights as his children,
including the new bodies he has promised us—bodies that will never be sick again and will never die.
From Vile to Glorious
Philippians 3:20-21
Living Bible
20 But our homeland is in heaven,
where our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, is;
and we are looking forward to his return from there.
21 When he comes back,
he will take these dying {vile} bodies of ours and change them into glorious bodies like his own,
using the same mighty power that he will use to conquer all else everywhere.
The Rapture is the Reaping of a New Spiritual Body
1 Corinthians 15:35-57
New International Version
{Paraphrased}
The Resurrection Body
35 But someone will ask,
“How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?”
36 How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies
{when you plant a seed, it first dies in the earth then grows into the desired plant.
Death births new life}
37 When you sow,
you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed,
perhaps of wheat or of something else.
38 But God gives it a body as he has determined,
and to each kind of seed he gives its own body.
39 Not all flesh is the same:
People have one kind of flesh,
animals have another,
birds another and fish another.
40 There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies;
but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind,
and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another.
41 The sun has one kind of splendor,
the moon another and the stars another;
and star differs from star in splendor.
42 So will it be with the resurrection of the dead.
The body that is sown is perishable,
it is raised imperishable;
43 it is sown in dishonor,
it is raised in glory;
it is sown in weakness,
it is raised in power;
44 it is sown a natural body,
it is raised a spiritual body.
If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
45 So it is written:
“The first man Adam became a living being”;
the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
46 The spiritual did not come first,
but the natural,
and after that the spiritual.
47 The first man was of the dust of the earth;
the second man is of heaven.
48 As was the earthly man,
so are those who are of the earth;
and as is the heavenly man,
so also are those who are of heaven.
49 And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man,
so shall we bear the image of the heavenly man.
50 I declare to you, brothers and sisters,
that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God,
nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.
51 Listen,
I tell you a mystery:
We will not all sleep,
but we will all be changed—
52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye,
at the last trumpet.
For the trumpet will sound,
the dead will be raised imperishable,
and we will be changed.
53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable,
and the mortal with immortality.
54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable,
and the mortal with immortality,
then the {scripture} that is written will come true:
“Death has been swallowed up in victory” {Isa. 25:8}.
55 “Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?” {Hos. 13:14}
56 The sting of death is sin,
and the power of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God!
He gives us the victory {over death} through our Lord Jesus Christ.
The rapture is what God is saying in the Bible to occur on the day that Jesus returns, not before the Tribulation.

Leavin’ On My Mind
The old house I’m livin’ in, it’s needin’ repair
The windows and the shutters are lettin’ in the cold, cold air
I say to myself I’m gonna fix ‘em when I can get the time
But all I’ve been gettin’ lately is leavin’ on my mind
Chorus
Lately all I’ve got is leavin’ on my mind
Seems that’s all I’m thinkin’ ‘bout most of the time
Soon and very soon I’ll leave my troubles so far behind
Lately I’ve got leavin’, leavin’ on my mind
Verse 2
So I guess I should be lookin’ for a better place to live
But I can’t seem to get excited about this world and what it can give
For I couldn’t care less if I could buy it all with a solitary dime
For what good would a world do me with leavin’ on my mind
Chorus
Lately I’ve got leavin’, leavin’ on my mind
Seems that’s all I’m thinkin’ ‘bout most of the time
Soon and very soon I’ll leave my troubles so far behind
Lately I’ve got leavin’, leavin’ on my mind
World without end. Amen.
