The Year of the Rapture Is Given In Scripture But Not The Day And The Hour

Updated: Sep 19

I have seen people who are mixed up about the rapture. Some say that we can know when it's going to happen, and some say we're not supposed to know. It appears that people who don't know scripture say that we cannot know. Those who know the Bible say we can know. People read passages like Acts 1:7, 8 and say that we're not supposed to know. Some read Mt. 16:1-4 and say that we can know.

Well, God gave us the time in the book of Daniel. Read Daniel chapters 7 thru 12 and you'll understand. I'll give you a passage from Daniel 9 to show you when Jesus comes back.

Daniel 9:24-27

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

24 {Archangel Gabriel speaking for God to prophet Daniel} Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

So, what is the time of the Rapture? Daniel's seventieth week, v. 24. What I'm showing you with Daniel is that God gave us the time of the rapture in Daniel. We have to study it to find out what Gabriel means by the word "week". But since God gave us the time in Daniel, it's OK to study for the time of the rapture and the return of Jesus and to preach about them. In fact, Jesus wants us to discern the time. Read with me the following passages.

Matthew 16:1-4

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

16 The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired {Jesus} that He would {show} them a sign from heaven. He answered and said {to} them, "When it is evening, {you} say, 'It will be fair weather {because} the sky is red". And in the morning {you say}, 'It will be foul weather today {because} the sky is red and lowring'. O {you} hypocrites, {you} can discern the face of the sky, but can {you} not discern the signs of the times? A wicked and adulterous generation {seeks} after a sign, and there shall no sign be given {to} it but the sign of the prophet Jonas". And He left them and departed.

In this passage, paraphrased, Jesus is saying that God wants us to discern the signs of the times, and that the signs of the times can be discerned in the face of the sky. God wants us to know the time of Christ's return from the sky (Rev. 1:7).

The signs of Christ's return are the revelation of the antichrist (2 Thes. 2:1-7), and the sky opening (Mt. 24:27/ 1 Thes. 4:16, 17/ Rev. 1:7) just before Jesus descends to do the rapture before His feet touch the Mount of Olives (Zec. 14:4).

Let's read more...

Matthew 24:32-33

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree. When his branch is yet tender, and {puts} forth leaves, {you} know that summer is {near}. 33 So likewise, when {you} shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

The previous verses in Mt. 24 from verses 1 to31, Jesus tells us the signs of the times. In this passage, verses 32 and 33, Jesus tells us that these signs are how to know the times of His return and of the rapture because Jesus said that God is telling us that He wants us to know the time & signs of His return.

Note that Jesus said, "summer". This could imply that the return of Jesus and the rapture are going to occur in the summer of Daniels' seventieth week. Daniel's seventieth week and the summer give us the season and week of the rapture. So, it's ok to study what those scriptures mean in context with the return of Jesus.

I also added more about the sign of Jonah below for your understanding. Paraphrased, what Jesus is saying below is that if all you want is a sign of His return, then your sins are going to get worse and worse, just like someone who is demon possessed, because you're not saved. A Christian finds the time of Christ's return to prepare for it.

Matthew 12:38-45

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, "Master, we would see a sign from {You}. 39 But {Jesus} answered and said {to} them, "An evil and adulterous generation {seeks} after a sign, and there shall no sign be given to it but the sign of the prophet {Jonah}. 40 {As Jonah} was three days and three nights in the whales belly, so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation and shall condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of {Jonah} and behold, a greater than {Jonah} is here. 42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation and shall condemn it {because} she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon and behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he {walks} through dry places seeking rest and {finds} none. 44 Then he {says}, 'I will return into my house from whence I came out', and when he is come, he {finds} it empty, swept, and garnished. 45 Then {goes} he and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there. And the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also {to} this wicked generation".

So, what is the sign of Jonah from v. 39? The answer is in v. 40. That as Jonah was in the belly of the whale for three days and three nights, so Jesus was in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights. This is talking about the resurrection of Christ. The sign that Jesus is God's Son is the resurrection from the dead. The sign of Christ is the resurrection.

What Jesus is talking about in Mt. 12:38-45 is faith in Jesus. People that don't believe in Jesus want a sign to believe in Him. So, Jesus gave them the sign of the resurrection from the dead. This proves that Jesus is God's Son so that they can believe and get saved by faith in Him (Rom. 1:4/ Jn. 3).

So, how do we relate the rapture to the resurrection of Jesus? Faith. Belief in Jesus. Unbelievers ask for a sign that Jesus is God's Son and for a sign when Jesus will come back so that they can believe through them. Jesus is saying that the signs are already there, but they can't see them because they don't believe in Him.

So, how do we believe in Jesus and since the signs are already there, where do we find them? The Bible. Apart from faith, the sign that Jesus is God's Son is the resurrection because you can see it with your eyes without believing in Him, and it will make you believe in Jesus once you hear what the Bible says about the resurrection.

But to begin faith in Jesus and the place to find the signs of the times that we're in today, is in the Bible. Rom. 10:17 says that faith in Jesus comes through hearing from preachers what the Bible says about that Jesus is the Son of God.

So, what Jesus is saying in Mt. 12:38-45, is that the sign that Jesus is the Son of God to unbelievers, is His resurrection from the dead, and that the signs of His return are in the Bible. In other words, only God's people will know when Jesus comes back because they believe in Him and thus, they study the Bible. The Bible tells us when Jesus is coming back.

So, if you don't believe in Jesus, you won't figure out the day that He returns because you first have to believe in Him, and also be a Bible student, to know. You know. I asked God the same thing just like you. When will Jesus come back? Know what He said?

"Don't ask".

So, why does Jesus tell us that it is not for us to know the times and seasons of His return? Read the following passage with me...

Acts 1:7-8

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

And {Jesus} said {to} them, "It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father {has} put in His own power. But {you} shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you, and {you} shall be witnesses {to} Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and {to} the uttermost part of the earth".

Here, Jesus is saying that looking for the times and seasons of His return instead of witnessing about Jesus for God, is the wrong way to go. Jesus wants us to witness instead of predict the day and hour. God wants us to live for Him by staying in church and witnessing instead of trying to find out the day that Jesus is returning, so that the people you witness to, can repent.

"Living Right

Is Better Than Predicting My Return"

Said the Lord.

{2 Pt. 3:11-14}

To make the rapture, we have to prepare for it by living holy and godly lives. Not by trying to find the day and the hour. Living right in holiness and godliness to prepare for the rapture (2 Pt. 3:11-14) is better than predicting the Lord's return. God wants us to live right instead of predict His return. We prepare for the rapture by living holy and godly instead of predicting Christ's return.

The Lord says,

"If you try to predict My return, that means that you're not living right, because you want to find out when it is so that at the last minute, you can repent. Stop predicting. Stop trying to get ready at the last minute. Live right today, and that's how you'll be ready for the rapture".

2 Peter 3:8-18

Authorized (King James) Version

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. 18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

The most schooled Bible students of faith in Jesus know that Daniel gives us the seventieth week, but that's it. From that you can hear the Spirit telling you the year of the rapture. The day and the hour are not in the Bible. The message about the day and the hour is in heaven and unlawful for man to hear. You will see in the Bible Daniel's seventieth week combined with Acts 1:7, 8. This means that God wants you to know that Jesus is coming back, but not the day and the hour. If the day and the hour are not in the Bible and Acts 1:7, 8 is, where Jesus tells us that it is not for us to know the day and the hour, then don't ask. Just do what God's Son says to do in Acts 1:7, 8, and that is to witness to the unbelievers that Jesus is the Son of God (1 Cor. 15:1-11).

Do you see how the Holy Spirit with this post is taking you back to faith in Jesus when you asked about His return? This is because you'll never know that day until you first believe in Jesus (Jn. 3/ Rom. 10). And you believe in Jesus when you study the Bible. And when you study the Bible, you're not going to ask about the day and the hour because you're going to see the seventieth week and Jesus telling you that it is not for you to know the times or the seasons of His return, in Acts 1:7, 8.

When you ask Jesus when He's coming back, He's going to take you back to faith in Him through scriptures like Mt. 12:38-45, where Jesus says that it's about believing in Him, not looking for signs that predict His return. And Acts 1:7, 8, where Jesus says that it's not for you to know about the times and the seasons of His return. Instead, what does Jesus tell us to do in Acts 1:7, 8 instead of predict His return? WITNESS. Witnessing is obeying God in Mt. 28:18-20, Mk. 16:14-18, Lk. 24:44-49, Jn. 20:19-23 and Acts 1 &2. Doing God's word is how to prepare for the rapture, not trying to find the day and the hour of it, because doing God's word gives us the right to enter the New Jerusalem in heaven (Rev. 22:14). Trying to find the sign of His return doesn't.

To find a sign means that you don't believe. You look for a sign to make you believe in Jesus and to get you ready for His return with it. But no sign will be given but the resurrection because you don't believe, and the resurrection will make a believer out of you. Once you believe, then you will stop looking for a sign to believe in because you will already believe.

We're acting like unbelievers when we try to find the day and the hour. God wants us to listen, not predict His return. To obey is better than unbelief. Stop predicting and read the Bible and believe.

The solar eclipse on April 8th, 2024 was a sign of Christ's return to the unbelievers in this world. But those who know the word, know not to seek the day or ask for a sign. We prepare for Christ's return by witnessing to the unbelievers in this world with God and the angels. Not asking for the day and the hour.

Three Signs to Unbelievers today to Believe in Jesus

  1. The Bible

  2. The Resurrection

  3. The Solar Eclipse on April 8th, 2024

All three signs are there for you to see and believe in Jesus with. Unbelievers look for a sign to believe in Jesus. Jesus says the sign to make you believe in Him is the sign of Jonah. The resurrection from the dead. Jesus rose from the dead in front of unbelievers. Rom. 1:4 says that the resurrection proves that Jesus is the Son of God. Only God can come back from the dead because He is life (Acts 2:23, 24). Jesus is God whether you believe it or not. But you believing in Jesus will get you to heaven, and that's what both God and we want.

The Holy Spirit will take you back to faith in Jesus when you ask about the day and the hour of His return. Faith in Jesus comes from the Bible. When you read the Bible, it's going to give you what you want from a sign to believe in Jesus with: It will make you believe in Jesus.

Now that we believe in Jesus, what next? The answer is to make the rapture, not predict it. How? Jesus says today,

"All that I require

Is for you to stay in church and talk to people about Me.

That's what it means to be faithful".

Hebrews 10:24-25

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

Staying in Church Encourages us to Prepare for the Rapture by Witnessing

24 and let us consider one another to provoke {to} love and to good works {obedience to God's word}.

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together {in church}, as the manner of some is.

But {let us encourage} one another so much the more {in church}, as {you} see the day of {the rapture} approaching.

Luke 12:35-44

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

Talking to Others About Jesus

Is what it Means to be Faithful to God,

In Order to Make the Rapture

35 {And Jesus said} {"Be preparedall dressed and ready36 for your Lords return from the wedding feast. Then you will be ready to open the door and let Him in the moment He arrives and knocks {Mt. 25:1-13}. 37 Blessed are those servants, whom the Lord when He {comes back} shall find watching. Verily I say {to} you, that He shall {dress} Himself {in His Kingly apparel}, and make them to sit down to {eat}, and will come forth and serve them. 38 And if He shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. 40 Be therefore ready also, {because} the Son of man {comes back} at an hour when {you} think not".

41 Then Peter said {to} Him, "Lord, {do you speak} this parable {to} us, or even to all"? 42 And the Lord said, "Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his Lord shall make ruler over His household, to give them their portion of {the Bible - Mt4:4} in due season? 43 Blessed is that servant, whom his Lord when He {comes back} shall find so doing. 44 Of a truth I say {to} you, that He will make him ruler over all that He {has}".

A Closing Insight into Mt. 12:38-45

The Holy Spirit showed me that the reason that Jesus gave the sign of the prophet Jonah to unbelievers that are looking for a sign in heaven to believe in Him with, is because when you hear about the prophet Jonah, you grab your Bible, and you start studying it beginning with the book of Jonah. This is what Jesus wants you to do. Grab your Bible and read it because when you do, it starts to make you believe in Jesus (Rom. 10:17). Reading the Bible gives people what they want when they look for a sign in the sky about Jesus to believe in. The Bible makes you believe in Jesus.

And to believe in Jesus is the start to know when He's coming back. But you can't know the day and the hour to prepare for the rapture. You prepare for the rapture by witnessing not knowing the day and the hour but knowing that witnessing brings the rapture.

You want to be ready when Jesus returns, right?

An unbeliever looks for a sign in the sky.

A Christians listens to the Bible.

When you listen to the Bible

You stop looking for a sign to believe in.

Now you know where to look to find Jesus.

The Bible.

You want to know when the Lord is coming back,

So, you can prepare to meet Him in the Rapture.

Knowing the day & the hour isn't how to prepare.

You prepare by witnessing (Mt. 24:43-46).

Witnessing brings the day & hour of the end (Mt. 24:14),

When Jesus comes back to make a new beginning (Rev. 21:5-8).

The Lord Jesus says,

"My people are getting ready for Me,

Because they're listening.

They're getting Me on My horse's saddle.

You better start getting ready for Me,

You better start reading the Bible to find the way home,

Because I'm about to return,

And you don't know when".

People have said that the truth is out there in space. No.

The truth is in there, in the Bible. Yes.

The Truth is in the Bible

(Jn. 17:17)

Altar Call

"Come to Me"

Says the Holy Spirit

(Mt. 11:28-30)

The Sinner's Prayer

The Confession of the Word of Faith in Christ

Romans 10:6-17

Authorized (King James) Version

{Paraphrased}

God's Saving & Healing Power in the Bible

The Word of Faith & Salvation

6 But the {right standing with God} which {comes from biblically created faith} speaks {in this way in the Bible about how to get saved through faith from sin & death}, "Say not in {your} heart, 'Who shall ascend into heaven'"? {Dt. 30:12} (that is, to bring Christ down from above). 7 or, "Who shall descend into the deep?" {Dt. 30:13} (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead). 8 But what {does} it {say}? "The word is {near you}. {It is in your} mouth, and in {your} heart {from hearing the scriptures - Pr. 4:20-27}. That is, the word of faith, which we preach. 9 That if you shall confess with {your} mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in {your} heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved {from sin & death}. 10 For with the heart man believes {the scriptures about Jesus giving him right standing before God} and with the mouth confession {of these scriptures about Jesus} is made giving him God's salvation from sin & death through faith in Christ}. 11 For the scripture {says}, "Whoever believes on {Jesus the Son of God} shall not be ashamed" {Isa. 28:16}. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek. For the same Lord over all is rich {in faith & salvation} to all that call upon Him {through the scriptures}. 13 "For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord {Jesus} shall be saved {from sin & death - Joel 2:32}. 14 How then shall they call on {Christ for salvation from sin & death} if {they do not believe in Him}? And how shall they believe in {Christ if} they have not {first} heard about Him? And how shall they hear without a preacher {telling them what the scriptures say about Him}? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent {by God to do this}? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace {with God through faith in His Son Jesus} and bring glad tidings of good things"! {Isa. 52:7} 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For {Isaiah says}, "Lord, who has believed our report {in the Old Testament prophecies that God's Son Jesus is the long awaited Savior from sin & death"? {Isa. 53:1} 17 So then faith {in Christ as the Lord & Savior from sin & death} comes by hearing, and hearing by {what} the word of God {the Bible prophecies say about Him. To get faith to call upon the Lord Jesus for salvation from sin & death, listen to what God's preachers tell you about Jesus & read what the Bible says about Him}.

Got it? What the Holy Spirit is saying in this passage is that to get saved, you need to do verses 9 and 10 highlighted in bold case above. That is, confess with your mouth the scriptures about Jesus being the Lord of sin and death because you believe them, and you will be saved from sin and death by your faith in what the Bible says about Jesus dying and raising from the dead for your sins.

The Holy Spirit is telling you in this passage that if you want to believe in Jesus and be saved from sin and death, then read what the Bible says about Him, because faith in Jesus comes, or, is created in your heart and mouth, when you read the Bible. Read what the Bible says about the Lord Jesus in the New Testament, and you will be saved when you tell God and this world that you believe what the Bible says about Jesus. To do this is called the Confession of the Word of Faith in Christ, and the Sinner's Prayer. Let me lead you in the Sinner's Prayer.

The Sinner's Prayer

The Confession of the Word of Faith in Christ the Lord

"Lord Jesus. I believe in You. I believe that you died for my sins and rose from the dead and that you are alive today right here with me now as I tell you that I believe in You.

Please forgive me of my sins through my faith in your shed Blood on the Cross, and please raise me from the dead by my faith in Your resurrection. Thank you, Lord, for saving me from sin and death. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen".

Get out your Bible out and read John, Acts and Romans in the New Testament while you listen to the Playlist below...and know that the tears that flood your eyes when you pray the Sinner's Prayer are coming from the Presence of God. That's God the Holy Spirit you're sensing and that's why you're crying as you pray this prayer. God is love (1 Jn. 4:7, 8) and when you meet Him, you can't but cry around Him. It's called "godly sorrow" (2 Cor. 7:9-11).

Now, I want to use my anointing & authority in Christ to baptize you into the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit is Heaven's guarantee. There are believers, and there are born again believers (Acts 19:1-6). Please pray this prayer below and you will meet God the Holy Spirit instantly...

The Archangel Gabriel Speaks About the Midnight Cry

Message Dated,

December 22nd, 2022, at 10:32 AM (CST).

On April 30th, 2024, at 4:00 AM, The Archangel Gabriel got me on my recorder and took me back to 2022 in messages not written yet...this is what the Archangel Gabriel says for the Lord about the Midnight Cry,

"This Bible that we have, is missing a lot of important statements from the Lord Christ. He didn't say to "watch for His return until the Day dawns". He said that He's coming at night. This is what that preacher wrote that you told him, that, God's about to come back in the worst times in the world.

To the world, it's going to look like heaven on earth because the antichrist is going to say that he's God, and he's going to have this world in a state of bliss and euphoria. The Bible calls it "Peace and Safety" {2 Thes. 5:3}. There's going to be a World Unity. No more war. Everybody's going to be prospering in business, and everyone's going to be happy because there's going to be no more fighting".

"But the Lord said that, is evil. He calls those "the days of darkness" just before His return. The world isn't going to be about God or believing in Him and preparing for the rapture by preaching. They're going to be living in secular peace and safety. Thinking that Christ has returned in the antichrist. That's the darkness! The Lie! The Bible calls it a lie. That's the darkness Jesus is talking about".

"So, we think that when Jesus said that when He returns the world's going to be in darkness, they think that it's talking about suffering. But the antichrist is going to look like God by removing war and suffering and make a one world unity, and that, is what God calls 'darkness'".

"The devil is hiding the real Bible because if you read it, it's going to answer your every tribulation. He has it hid under a bunch of books in his house. But he can't hide it, because it shines underneath his books of occult practice and makes them not shine. If you walk in, you'll see it as you sit with him in his robes. He'll call you the Lord's anointed, if you don't take it. He can't hide it because it makes his occult books look lost. I want you to take it from him. Call his secretary and ask for lunch".

World without end. Amen.
