Have You Ever Seen the Face of God?

No One Can See God's Face and Live

Exodus 33:20

Modern English Version

20 He said, “You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live.”

Only Jesus Saw God's Face

John 1:18

Modern English Version

18 No one has seen God at any time. The only Son, who is at the Father’s side, has made Him known.

The Face of God the Father Is Seen in the Face of Jesus

Jesus' Face Can Be Seen by Men and This Is the Face of God

John 14:8-10

Living Bible

Philip said, “Sir, show us the Father and we will be satisfied.”

Jesus replied, “Dont you even yet know who I am, Philip, even after all this time I have been with you? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking to see him

10 Dont you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I say are not my own but are from my Father who lives in me. And he does his work through me.

I Saw the Lord Jesus in 2021

In 2021, I had a profound experience: I saw the Lord Jesus praying for me. Over the course of three days—both at night and during the day—Jesus was present in my room.

He appeared as an everyday Hebrew from Israel, with black hair, brown skin, and blackish-brown eyes. For more details about this encounter, please see the button below titled “I Saw The Lord.”

People who know the Lord understand that Jesus sometimes leaves heaven to pray for and help His church, just as He did when He converted Saul to the apostle Paul (see Acts chapters 9 and 26). Through these visits, He continues to do His will on earth.

People who truly know the Lord understand that the Bible is not the final authority on earth—the Holy Spirit is. The Holy Spirit is God Himself, while the Bible is His word, not His Person.

Those who do not know the Holy Spirit often believe that what is written in the Bible is the ultimate authority. However, they may not realize that the Holy Spirit continues to speak to us today through “rhema,” revealing mysteries and guidance beyond what is written. Because they do not know the Holy Spirit, they do not hear His voice.

For example, in Acts 9, during the conversion of the apostle Paul, Jesus and the Holy Spirit spoke to the church about Paul, sharing things that were not written in the Bible. Some people who do not know the Lord claim that God no longer speaks to people in this way, believing it was only a special occurrence for the early church.

However, those of us who know the Lord understand that He still communicates like this with His people today. To discern who is telling the truth, one must truly know the Lord, and this comes through the baptism into the Holy Spirit.

When the Holy Spirit comes to live inside you through this baptism, you begin to know the Lord personally. From that day forward, you will see Him and hear Him speaking to you. The baptism into the Holy Spirit is the key to knowing the truth about God (see John 16:7-15).

Acts 9:1-16

Living Bible

But Paul, threatening with every breath and eager to destroy every Christian, went to the High Priest in Jerusalem.

He requested a letter addressed to synagogues in Damascus, requiring their cooperation in the persecution of any believers he found there, both men and women, so that he could bring them in chains to Jerusalem.

As he was nearing Damascus on this mission, suddenly a brilliant light from heaven spotted down upon him!

He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Paul! Paul! Why are you persecuting me?”

“Who is speaking, sir?” Paul asked.

And the voice replied, “I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting!

Now get up and go into the city and await my further instructions.”

The men with Paul stood speechless with surprise, for they heard the sound of someone’s voice but saw no one!

8-9 As Paul picked himself up off the ground, he found that he was blind. He had to be led into Damascus and was there three days, blind, going without food and water all that time.

10 Now there was in Damascus a believer named Ananias. The Lord spoke to him in a vision, calling, “Ananias!”

“Yes, Lord!” he replied.

11 And the Lord said, “Go over to Straight Street and find the house of a man named Judas and ask there for Paul of Tarsus. He is praying to me right now, for

12 I have shown him a vision of a man named Ananias coming in and laying his hands on him so that he can see again!”

13 “But Lord,” exclaimed Ananias, “I have heard about the terrible things this man has done to the believers in Jerusalem!

14 And we hear that he has arrest warrants with him from the chief priests, authorizing him to arrest every believer in Damascus!”

15 But the Lord said, “Go and do what I say. For Paul is my chosen instrument to take my message to the nations and before kings, as well as to the people of Israel.

16 And I will show him how much he must suffer for me.

The Face of the Holy Spirit is Not Recorded in Scripture

You Have to Know Him to See His Face in You and the Church

The face of the Holy Spirit is not specifically described in Scripture, except for the instance where He takes the bodily form of a dove (Luke 3:21-23). Throughout various ministries, the Holy Spirit reveals Himself in different ways. For example, I have seen Him appear as fire and light, and sometimes as a dove.

Church Symbols of the Holy Spirit

In Benny Hinn’s ministry, the Holy Spirit is often depicted as a dove holding a cross in front of the earth with His feathers, and His beak appears as a gentle smile. See below ...

On other occasions, I have witnessed Him as glowing pages of the Bible, radiating light and warmth. See below ...

One unique experience occurred while I was in jail. I saw the Holy Spirit appear as a bird/man descending from the sky, wrapped in a bed sheet—similar to how people sometimes cover themselves with sheets to resemble ghosts.

He looked like a large, bird-like figure, with a glowing white torso and no distinct facial features. The head was round and luminous, without eyes, nose, or ears, yet He possessed all the senses: the ability to talk, see, hear, smell, and feel. He also had two arms and two legs.

The Lord

The Many Faces of God

These encounters show that the Holy Spirit can manifest in many forms, each revealing a different aspect of His presence and ministry.

Besides appearing as a dove, the Holy Spirit also manifests within Spirit-baptized Christians. After believers receive the baptism into the Holy Spirit, He works through their human bodies, expressing Himself through the spiritual gifts described in 1 Corinthians 12:1-11.

In this way, the Holy Spirit takes on the face of the church. Just as Jesus said that when we see Him, we have seen the face of the Father, we can also see the Holy Spirit reflected in Spirit-baptized Christians. The presence and power of the Holy Spirit are revealed through the lives and faces of those who have received Him.

My point is this: the Holy Spirit manifests Himself through the faces and actions of His church. When we look at Spirit-filled believers, we witness the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in the world today.

I have seen the Holy Spirit manifest a few times, appearing in the body of Jesus. In these spiritual encounters, Jesus stood before me in the Spirit, smiling. Yet, I realized it was not Jesus Himself, but His Spirit—the Holy Spirit—revealing Himself to me. The image appeared in my mind, resembling the familiar pictures of Jesus found in books, on TV, and across the Internet, with long hair and a gentle expression.

The Lord had to use what was in my mind about His appearance to manifest to me, and what was there was images from books, TV and the Internet.

What struck me most about the Holy Spirit’s image was that He had many faces. As I watched, His face changed from one to another very fast—I saw the faces of my family and friends, all smiling. Some faces I recognized, while others were unfamiliar. In that moment, I understood that these were the people God had used to help me throughout my life, from childhood onward. The Holy Spirit had manifested through those who cared for me throughout my life up to that point, including people I never met or knew.

This experience taught me that God often uses others to bless and support us, especially if we are born again and Spirit-filled Christians. Sometimes, people you don’t know will help you, guided by the Holy Spirit working through them.

The first faces I saw were those of my brothers, sisters, and parents. The very first face was that of my oldest brother (name withheld for privacy). This made me wonder—why would the Holy Spirit choose to show me the face of my brother instead of a parent or a pastor?

I realized that Jesus is often described as our older brother (See Hebrews 2:11, 12, Romans 8:29 and Mark 3:34, 35). When I heard His voice, it sounded like my oldest brother, and being in His presence felt just like being with my oldest brother.

At that time, the Lord was dictating the message about the Blood of Jesus to me. See link below. This is what He was saying when He spoke to me that day that sounded like my oldest brother.

"'Tell Them That Jesus Died For Them. Not When He Will Return', Said The Holy Ghost"

Even if you don’t have an older brother, God will use someone who loves you to reveal Himself to you. He often manifests through people who care for you and have authority in your life—your family, friends, and even those in positions of law or leadership.

God uses these relationships to guide, support, and help us, showing His love through those who are closest to us.

I've seen the Lord Jesus a few times, and the Holy Spirit. I've also seen the face of the devil ... back in 2023 when the Lord got me back from the devil, I saw the devil for about a week before the devil returned me to God.

His face was manifesting in my bedroom all day and night that first week ... the light of day brought no comfort ... he was there watching me in my room for some reason ... the Lord told me why ... the Lord ordered the devil to return me to God ... this battle is in the message in the Button below about my heart, that the reason it keeps beating is because heaven has control of it. God and His angels keep our hearts beating.

That is the message God wanted to teach me at that time, and there was a two-week battle over my soul after the devil was watching me in my room ... he was watching me because he was there ...

When I slept, I would enter another world through vivid visions; out of body experiences. These visions were full of color, and they were real out of body experiences, complete with distinct smells and sounds. Even after I woke up, the scents and sounds lingered in my house, and I could feel the angels touching me though I couldn’t see them surrounding me. During these times, both evil and holy angels were present.

During that first week, I noticed something unusual about a poster on my bedroom wall. It was of an old friend I knew from prison in California back in the 1990s—a well-known Chicano rap artist from Los Angeles. I won’t mention his name to protect his privacy. The devil began manifesting from that picture, and I found it difficult to see my friend’s face in the poster, almost as if I had developed an eye problem. Even in broad daylight, the face was still there.

From my experience, seeing ghosts is different from seeing angels or other spiritual beings. Ghosts often appear in your peripheral vision—just at the corner of your eye, there and gone in an instant, like snapping a photo. You can sometimes see their features more clearly from the side than if you look directly at them.

I once saw the ghost of an old female friend who had died from Covid a few years ago. Again, I won’t mention her name for privacy. I can still remember her ghost vividly, as if I have a picture of her in my mind. I was standing at my kitchen sink, having just finished cleaning and polishing it after a meal. Suddenly, she appeared for a brief moment, looking into the empty sink and smiling. She was right next to me, on my right side.

Sometimes, ghosts appear in your spirit’s mind rather than in your direct line of sight. You might be looking at something with your eyes, and suddenly, a face will seem to emerge from what you’re looking at. Over the years, I have seen demons, sasquatch, angels, God, and human spirits in this way.

If your spirit is alive and sensitive to the Holy Spirit, you may notice these manifestations more clearly. When a ghost appears before you, you might see its face in everyday objects—on the television, in your furniture, or even in your appliances. The image will often begin with the eyes, and then the rest of the facial features will form. Typically, you won’t see their bodies, just their eyes and faces.

These experiences remind me that the spiritual realm is closer than we often realize, and that being attuned to the Holy Spirit can make us more aware of these supernatural encounters.

The Devil’s Face

At night, while looking at the poster of my friend in my room, I could make out his eyes and face. But as I stared, an evil face began to form over his image. No matter what I did—whether I changed the lighting or moved around—the face remained. I realized I was seeing something sinister: an evil face watching me. The eyes appeared first, and that was the most frightening part. Although I’m no longer afraid, at the time, the eyes darted back and forth, spinning in circles and moving in every direction like a lunatic. Each eye moved independently of the other so that one was up and the other down, or one looking in every direction while the other did the same thing.

The Lord revealed to me that these were demons inside the devil, all looking out through his eyes at once (See Matthew 8:28-34, Mark 5:1-20 and Luke 8:26-39). When multiple spirits inhabit someone, their movements are reflected in the eyes—one spirit looks up, another down, others to the sides, causing the eyes to dart around wildly. For days, the eyes bulged and shifted as hundreds or even thousands of evil spirits peered out through the devil’s face.

Whenever light from outside hit the poster, such as a passing car or a streetlamp flickering through trees blown by the wind, it illuminated the devil’s face rather than my friend’s, and I saw features that were unmistakably evil—beyond hostility, truly terrifying. The face resembled a small angel in bodily appearance, but it never spoke. There was a distinct, unpleasant smell, and these spirits would quietly follow me whenever I left my room.

In closing, one important lesson God taught me about devils is that God and His angels are far stronger than they are. God’s angels are more powerful and even more violent in battle than the devil and his demons. While the devil is evil and frightening, God’s angels are not afraid of him—they laugh at, mock, and beat the devils severely. During those two weeks in 2023, I saw God’s angels fighting off these devils, protecting me from harm. Their violence is not out of evil, but out of love for God and for those He loves. Seeing God or His children hurt makes the angels fiercely protective and aggressive toward evil.

When we witness something as heartbreaking as a two-year-old child being hurt, it stirs a deep sense of outrage, sorrow, and a powerful urge to protect. This intense feeling of love and defense is similar to what God’s angels experience when they see the devil trying to harm one of God’s children. The angels are fiercely protective, and their love for God and His people drives them to act with great strength and determination.

Just as we would do anything to shield a vulnerable child from harm, God’s angels respond with overwhelming force against evil. Their actions are not motivated by anger or hatred, but by a deep love and commitment to protect those whom God loves. When the devil attempts to attack or destroy, the angels intervene, fighting with a passion that comes from their love for God and His people.

This comparison helps us understand the depth of the angels’ devotion and the lengths they will go to ensure our safety. We are never alone in our battles; God’s angels are always ready to defend and protect us, driven by a love that is pure and unwavering.

God’s angels love you deeply through God's Spirit, and their strength far surpasses that of the devils. You don’t need to be afraid of the devil when you have God’s angels on your side. You need their help to fight spiritual battles, because alone, the devils would overpower you. But with God, His angels will always win. The devil is weaker than the archangel Michael and all the angels in heaven. You need God’s angels to protect you and to guide you to heaven, away from the devil’s reach. Alone, you would be eaten alive by them, but with God and His angels, you are safe.

If I could show you how violent God's holy angels are to the devil with videos, I would ... in the message in the Button below about my heart, there are videos at the end for you to watch and get a sense of how fiercely the holy angels beat the devil's face ...

The other realms are violent just as the human race is. There are scriptures where God tells us that on judgement day, that He and His holy angels are going to chop people up and cut them to pieces for rejecting God's grace. Here are some,

Luke 19:27

Modern English Version

27 But as for those enemies of mine, who would not let me reign over them, bring them here and slay them before me.’”

Matthew 24:48-51

Modern English Version

48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master delays his coming,’

49 and begins to strike his fellow servants and eat and drink with the drunkards,

50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not look for him and in an hour he is not aware of

51 and will cut him in pieces and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites, where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Psalm 50:22-23

Authorized (King James) Version

22 Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

The Lord says what these angels will do to the wicked on judgement day,

"They are going to rip you to pieces! They are going to rip your guts out and show them to you and yell, "These were supposed to be used to eat with God! But you have used them to eat with the devils!"

"God Wants To Show You Why Your Heart Keeps Beating"

This movie is fictional, but there are some life-like, violent zombie beatings in it to see

And get an idea of how violent God's holy angels beat the demons for people

Psalm 91

Living Bible

A Psalm of The Duties of the Arcs Michael and Gabriel

Michael, Angel of the Sun and Guardian Angel of the Day

And of the Living Church

The Angel of Life

Verse 5-B, Verse 6-B

Gabriel, Angel of the Moon, and Guardian Angel of the Night

And of the Dead in Christ

The Angel of Death

Verse 5-A, Verse 6-A

We live within the shadow of the Almighty, sheltered by the God who is above all gods.

This I declare, that he alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I am trusting him.

For he rescues you from every trap and protects you from the fatal plague.

He will shield you with his wings! They will shelter you. His faithful promises are your armor.

Now you don’t need to be afraid of the dark anymore, nor fear the dangers of the day;

nor dread the plagues of darkness, nor disasters at noonday.

Though a thousand fall at my side, though ten thousand are dying around me, the evil will not touch me.

I will see how the wicked are punished, but I will not share it.

For Jehovah is my refuge! I choose the God above all gods to shelter me.

10 How then can evil overtake me or any plague come near?

11 For he orders his angels to protect you wherever you go.

12 They will steady you with their hands to keep you from stumbling against the rocks on the trail.

13 You can safely meet a lion or step on poisonous snakes, yes, even trample them beneath your feet!

14 For the Lord says, “Because he loves me, I will rescue him; I will make him great because he trusts in my name.

15 When he calls on me, I will answer; I will be with him in trouble and rescue him and honor him.

16 I will satisfy him with long life, and give him my salvation.”

Psalm 32

Living Bible

1-2 What happiness for those whose guilt has been forgiven! What joys when sins are covered over! What relief for those who have confessed their sins and God has cleared their record.

There was a time when I wouldn’t admit what a sinner I was; I kept silence. But my dishonesty made me miserable and filled my days with frustration.

All day and all night your hand was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water on a sunny day until I finally admitted all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide them. I said to myself, “I will confess them to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.

Now I say that each believer should confess his sins to God when he is aware of them, while there is time to be forgiven. When the great waters overflow they shall not reach him, if he does.

You are my hiding place from every storm of life; you even keep me from getting into trouble! You surround me with songs of victory.

I will instruct you (says the Lord) and guide you along the best pathway for your life; I will advise you and watch your progress.

Dont be like a senseless horse or mule that has to have a bit in its mouth to keep it in line!

10 Many sorrows come to the wicked, but abiding love surrounds those who trust in the Lord.

11 So rejoice in him, all who are upright in heart, and shout for joy, all those who try to obey him.
