Matthew 24:36
Modern English Version

The Unknown Day and Hour

36 Concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

Acts 1:7

Modern English Version

{Paraphrased}

{Jesus} said to them, “It is not for you to know the times or the dates, which the Father has fixed by His own authority.

Answer

No one but God the Father knows.

Thus, all your predictions will prove to be false prophecies.

Isaiah 8:19-20

Modern English Version

19 When they say to you, “Seek after the mediums and the wizards, who whisper and mutter,” should not a people seek after their God? Should they consult the dead for the living?

20 To the law and to the testimony; if they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

The Rapture Happens After the Great Tribulation

There Is No Pre-Tribulation Rapture or Resurrection

Revelation 7:9-17
Modern English Version

The Multitude From Every Nation

Then I looked. And there was a great multitude which no one could count, from all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands.

10 They cried out with a loud voice:

“Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

11 All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures and fell on their faces before the throne and worshipped God,

12 saying:

“Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honorand power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen.”

13 Then one of the elders asked me, “Who are these clothed in white robes, and where did they come from?”

14 I said to him, “Sir, you know.” He said to me, “These are those who came out of great tribulation and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

15 Therefore, they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.

16 ‘They shall neither hunger any more, nor shall they thirst any more; the sun shall not strike them,’

nor any scorching heat;

17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and ‘He will lead them to springs of living water.’ ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’”

Those believers who were martyred for refusing the mark of the beast in verse 14 during the great tribulation are part of the multitude John saw in the first resurrection. This multitude assembled in the first resurrection after the great tribulation.

A pre-tribulation rapture would mean the first resurrection would occur before the great tribulation. But how then would the martyrs in the great tribulation be resurrected after the great tribulation?

Revelation 20:4-6 calls this resurrection the First Resurrection. This occurs after the martyrs are killed in the great tribulation. Thus, the Rapture and the First Resurrection occur after the great tribulation. There will be no pre-tribulation rapture.

The Bible Interprets Itself

2 Peter 1:16-21
Modern English Version

Christ’s Glory and the Prophetic Word

16 For we have not followed cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.

17 For He received honor and glory from God the Father when a voice came to Him from the majestic glory, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

18 And we ourselves heard this voice, which came from heaven, when we were with Him on the holy mountain.

19 And we have a more reliable word of prophecy, which you would do well to follow, as to a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts.

20 But know this first of all, that no prophecy of the Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation.

21 For no prophecy at any time was produced by the will of man, but holy men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

The Bible Interprets Itself Means That the Bible Will Speak Scriptures to You

The Voice of the Holy Spirit

John 14:26

Modern English Version

26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you.

Like a dictionary, the Holy Spirit will remind you of scriptures about the same word. A computer will give you all the verses that have that word in a word search. But the Holy Spirit gives you verses in your memory from the same word based on which scriptures He wants to speak to you.

For example, "love". You can do a search on a computer for every verse in the Bible that has the word love in it. But the Holy will choose from all those verses which ones He wants to speak to you at that time. That's what John 14:26 is saying and what the voice of God is. The Holy Spirit's voice is Bible scriptures.

So, stop listening to what people say about the rapture and listen to the Bible. The Bible will interpret itself about the rapture to teach you so that you don't need to listen to people. You'll have your own teachings from God about the rapture when this happens. This is called the anointing (1 Jn. 2:20-27).
