Matthew 7:13-27
Authorized (King James) Version
Many Believe in Jesus but Only a Few Will Make it to Heaven
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate:
for wide is the gate,
and broad is the way,
that leadeth to destruction,
and many there be which go in thereat:
14 because strait is the gate,
and narrow is the way,
which leadeth unto life,
and few there be that find it.
15 Beware of false prophets,
which come to you in sheep’s clothing,
but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits.
Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit;
but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit,
neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down,
and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me,
Lord, Lord,
shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day,
Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?
and in thy name have cast out devils?
and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them,
I never knew you:
depart from me,
ye that work iniquity.
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine,
and doeth them,
I will liken him unto a wise man,
which built his house upon a rock:
25 and the rain descended,
and the floods came,
and the winds blew,
and beat upon that house;
and it fell not:
for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine,
and doeth them not,
shall be likened unto a foolish man,
which built his house upon the sand:
27 and the rain descended,
and the floods came,
and the winds blew,
and beat upon that house;
and it fell:
and great was the fall of it.

The Gospel of Repentance and New Birth
Excerpt Below Taken from My Message,
"The Anointing of the Holy Spirit"
Acts 2:38-39
Authorized (King James) Version
{Paraphrased}
The Holy Spirit Might Come Upon You After Water Baptism
38 Then Peter said unto them,
Repent,
and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,
and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise {of the Spirit} is unto you,
and to your children,
and to all that are afar off
{in other nations and in the distant future},
even as many {of the remnant}
as the Lord our God shall call
{to eternal life through faith in Jesus}.
The Holy Spirit Might Come Upon You Before Water Baptism
Acts 10:43-48
Authorized (King James) Version
{Paraphrased}
43 To {Jesus} give all the prophets witness,
that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
44 While Peter yet spake these words,
the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished,
as many as came with Peter,
because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.
Then answered Peter,
47 Can any man forbid water,
that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord.
Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
The Holy Spirit Comes to You Because You Believe in Jesus
Water doesn't save us. It is a "sacrament" like Communion is. Those are the two New Testament Sacraments. Water baptism and communion. The Holy Spirit, God, is the Savior. Your faith in Jesus, when you believe in your heart, it can be immediate upon hearing the word about Jesus, or it can be after you believe and confess Christ, the Holy Spirit will come upon and save you through His baptism. The baptism into the Holy Spirit. Water baptism is to be done after you believe in Jesus.
The common denominator in both passages above, is that the people believed in Jesus and were anointed by the Holy Spirit, which is salvation ... the Holy Spirit is our salvation ... when He comes to live inside of us, we are saved ...
Born Again By the Spirit & the Word
Salvation Is Getting Born Again
Titus 3:3-7
Authorized (King James) Version
Born Again by the Holy Spirit
3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish,
disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures,
living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5 not by works of righteousness which we have done,
but according to his mercy he saved us,
by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 that being justified by his grace,
we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Ezekiel 36:25-27
Authorized (King James) Version
Born Again by the Holy Spirit
25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you
{the word of God - Jn. 15:1-3},
and ye shall be clean:
from all your filthiness,
and from all your idols,
will I cleanse you.
26 A new heart also will I give you,
and a new spirit will I put within you:
and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh,
and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my spirit within you,
and cause you to walk in my statutes,
and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Authorized (King James) Version
The New Birth
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ,
he is a new creature:
old things are passed away {dead};
behold,
all things are become new.
John 3:1-21
Authorized (King James) Version
Born Again by the Holy Spirit
Through Faith in Jesus
Born Again by the Holy Spirit
3 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 the same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him,
Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God:
for no man can do these miracles that thou doest,
except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again,
he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him,
How can a man be born when he is old?
can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,
he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee,
Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth,
and thou hearest the sound thereof,
but canst not tell whence it cometh,
and whither it goeth:
so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Born Again Through Faith in Jesus
9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him,
How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him,
Art thou a master of Israel,
and knowest not these things?
11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
We speak that we do know,
and testify that we have seen;
and ye receive not our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things,
and ye believe not,
how shall ye believe,
if I tell you of heavenly things?
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven,
but he that came down from heaven,
even the Son of man which is in heaven.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,
even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned:
but he that believeth not is condemned already,
because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation,
that light is come into the world,
and men loved darkness rather than light,
because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light,
neither cometh to the light,
lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light,
that his deeds may be made manifest,
that they are wrought in God.
1 Peter 1:22-23
Authorized (King James) Version
Born Again By the Word of God
22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit
unto unfeigned love of the brethren,
see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
23 being born again,
not of corruptible seed,
but of incorruptible,
by the word of God,
which liveth and abideth for ever.
So, after I wrote this message above about the new birth; getting born again, the Lord told me something about it ... He said,
"I gave you My heart".
This message was in reference to the defeat of Satan ... God gave us new hearts in the new birth to defeat Satan, because we no longer have that sinful nature to sin against God ... (Rom. 7) ... the devil made humans sin against God and our nature became sinful. Wanting to obey God but cannot do it without Him (Rom. 8) ... Thus, the Lord gives us His heart to turn this around on the devil ... God gives us a new heart and a new spirit in the new birth ... His heart and Spirit ...
To Summarize
The Baptism into the Holy Spirit
Is the New Birth
You Are Not a Real Christian
If You Do Not Have the Holy Spirit Inside You Through the New Birth
Romans 8:9
Living Bible
9 But you are not like that.
You are controlled by your new nature if you have the Spirit of God living in you.
(And remember that if anyone doesn’t have the Spirit of Christ living in him,
he is not a Christian at all.)
You Must Have the Holy Spirit to Go to Heaven
Ephesians 1:13, 14
Living Bible
{Paraphrased}
13 And because of what Christ did {on the Cross},
all you others too, who heard the Good News about how to be saved, and trusted Christ,
were marked as belonging to Christ by the Holy Spirit,
who long ago had been promised to all of us Christians.
14 His presence within us is God’s guarantee that he really will give us all that he promised;
and the Spirit’s seal upon us means that God has already purchased us
and that he guarantees to bring us to himself.
This is just one more reason for us to praise our glorious God.
There Are Believers
And There Are Born Again Believers
Acts 19:1-6
Authorized (King James) Version
The Gospel of Repentance and New Birth
19 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth,
Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus:
and finding certain disciples,
2 he said unto them,
Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?
And they said unto him,
We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
3 And he said unto them,
Unto what then were ye baptized?
And they said,
Unto John’s baptism.
4 Then said Paul,
John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance,
saying unto the people,
that they should believe on him which should come after him,
that is, on Christ Jesus.
5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them,
the Holy Ghost came on them {born again};
and they spake with tongues,
and prophesied
{baptized into the Spirit with spiritual gifts - 1 Cor. 12:1-11}.
James 2:19
Authorized (King James) Version
It Is Not Enough to Believe in Jesus
19 Thou believest that there is one God;
thou doest well:
the devils also believe,
and tremble.
You Must be Born Again
To See and Enter Heaven
John 3:3-5
Authorized (King James) Version
3 Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again,
he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him,
How can a man be born when he is old?
can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,
he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Your Chance to Get Born Again
The Sinner's Prayer
The Confession of the Word of Faith in Christ
Romans 10:6-17
Authorized (King James) Version
{Paraphrased}
God's Saving & Healing Power in the Bible
The Word of Faith & Salvation
6 But the {right standing with God} which {comes from biblically created faith}
speaks {in this way in the Bible about how to get saved through faith in Jesus from sin & death},
"Say not in {your} heart, 'Who shall ascend into heaven'"? {Dt. 30:12}
(that is, to bring {Jesus} down from above).
7 or, "Who shall descend into the deep?" {Dt. 30:13}
(that is, to bring up {Jesus} again from the dead).
8 But what {does} it {say}?
"The word is {near you}. {It is in your} mouth, and in {your} heart
{from hearing the scriptures - Pr. 4:20-27}.
That is, the word of faith, which we preach.
9 That if you shall confess with {your} mouth the Lord Jesus
and shall believe in {your} heart that God has raised Him from the dead,
you shall be saved {from sin & death}.
10 For with the heart man believes {the scriptures about Jesus giving him right standing before God}
and with the mouth confession {of these scriptures about Jesus} is made
giving him God's salvation from sin & death through faith in His Son Jesus}.
11 For the scripture {says},
"Whoever believes on {Jesus the Son of God} shall not be ashamed" {Isa. 28:16}.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek.
For the same Lord {Jesus} over all is rich {in faith & salvation} to all that call upon Him
{through the scriptures}.
13 "For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord {Jesus} shall be saved
{from sin & death - Joel 2:32}.
14 How then shall they call on {Jesus for salvation from sin & death} if {they do not believe in Him}?
And how shall they believe in {Him if} they have not {first} heard about Him?
And how shall they hear without a preacher {telling them what the scriptures say about Him}?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent {by God to do this}?
As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace {with God
through faith in His Son Jesus}
and bring glad tidings of good things"! {Isa. 52:7}
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel.
For {Isaiah says},
"Lord, who has believed our report
{in the Old Testament prophecies that God's Son Jesus
is the prophesied Savior from sin & death"? {Isa. 53:1}
17 So then faith {in Jesus as the Lord & Savior from sin & death} comes by hearing {about Him},
and hearing by {what} the word of God {the Bible prophecies say about Him.
To get faith to call upon the Lord Jesus for salvation from sin & death,
listen to what God's preachers tell you about Jesus & read what the Bible says about Him}.
Got it? What the Holy Spirit is saying in this passage is that to get saved, you need to do verses 9 and 10 highlighted in bold case above. That is, confess with your mouth the scriptures about Jesus being the Lord of sin and death because you believe them, and you will be saved from sin and death by your faith in what the Bible says about Jesus dying and raising from the dead for your sins.
The Holy Spirit is telling you in this passage that if you want to believe in Jesus and be saved from sin and death, then read what the Bible says about Him, because faith in Jesus comes, or, is created in your heart and mouth, when you read the Bible. Read what the Bible says about the Lord Jesus in the New Testament and you will be saved when you tell God and this world that you believe what the Bible says about Jesus. To do this is called the Confession of the Word of Faith in Christ, and the Sinner's Prayer. Let me lead you in the Sinner's Prayer.
The Sinner's Prayer
The Confession of the Word of Faith in Christ the Lord
"Lord Jesus. I believe in You. I believe that you died for my sins and rose from the dead and that you are alive today right here with me now as I tell you that I believe in You.
Please forgive me of my sins through my faith in your shed Blood on the Cross, and please raise me from the dead by my faith in Your resurrection. Thank you, Lord, for saving me from sin and death. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen".
Get out your Bible out and read John, Acts and Romans in the New Testament while you listen to the Playlist below...and know that the tears that flood your eyes when you pray the Sinner's Prayer are coming from the Presence of God. That's God the Holy Spirit you're sensing and that's why you're crying as you pray this prayer. God is love (1 Jn. 4:7, 8) and when you meet Him, you can't but cry around Him. It's called "godly sorrow" (2 Cor. 7:9-11).
Now, I want to use my anointing & authority in Christ to baptize you into the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit is Heaven's guarantee. There are believers, and there are born again believers (Acts 19:1-6). Please pray this prayer below and you will meet God the Holy Spirit instantly...

My Prophetic Intercession for Your Baptism into the Holy Spirit
Since you are reading my Page and hearing Jesus call you to the Rapture here,
I will use my Prophetic Anointing and ask the Holy Spirit to give me a prayer for you
to be baptized into the Holy Spirit NOW.
Read the prayer and receive the Holy Spirit...
"I am using my anointing and authority with Christ to pronounce you dead in Christ
And renewed to life by the Ever-Living Presence of God."
said the Holy Ghost...
"NOW RETURN TO ME AND BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST!"
said the Lord Jesus...
A closing word of encouragement,
Read the Bible and Go to Church and Soon,
The Holy Spirit Will Fall Upon you with Spiritual Gifts and Make you Born Again
A Personal Testimony
Stay in Church and Read the Bible
When I got baptized into the Holy Spirit, I was reading the Bible all the time and going to church all the time alone. I couldn't find anyone that was devoted to God like I was. And one day all alone, I got baptized into the Holy Spirit.
The same thing will happen to you. Just keep reading the Bible and going to church and suddenly one day, you'll meet the Holy Spirit. You'll get born again with the anointing of spiritual gifts and be baptized into the Holy Spirit.
I was baptized by the Spirit according to Acts 10:43-48, before water baptism and this taught me that salvation is to live in the Spirit, not get baptized in water. Water baptism is a sacrament you must do. But if you don't, you won't go to hell. Salvation isn't the water.
Stay in church and read the Bible and one day, you'll have a real encounter with God in the baptism into the Holy Spirit.

Afterthoughts ...
The Lord gave me Mt. 7:13-27 to open this post to support the title. The title is God's message to you in this post. The title is "Most Believers In Jesus Will Not Make It To Heaven". The Holy Spirit, via memory (Jn. 14:26), showed me vv. 13, 14 in my memory to use to convey God's message in this post that few will go to heaven and many more will go to hell, though they believe in Jesus.
However, long ago God taught me to keep the passage references in context that He gives me to use to explain what He says to us on this, my website. So, the message that many will go to heaven and only a few will make it to heaven, is tied to and in context with the rest of the verses. In vv. 24-27 Jesus tells us that the reason that many believers will not make it to heaven in vv. 13, 14, is because they don't listen to Jesus.
In vv. 21-23 Jesus tells us that on judgement day that many believers will try to get out of hell by lying to Jesus and saying that they're His true children doing the things that He told us to do in the Great Commission passages in the New Testament, such as Mt. 28:18-20 & Mk. 16:15-18. Jesus says the truth to them that He doesn't know them.
In vv. 15-20 Jesus calls them "false prophets". This means that they're not real Christians. False prophets have ministries today that use the Name of Jesus to do miracles, but they are about making money, not saving souls. Their business is a false ministry all about "the demon mammon - Mt. 6:24-34, or, making money and are not real Christians. On judgement day they will remind Jesus of the miracles that they did in His Name. But Jesus will tell them that they're false prophets using His Name to make money.
My point in this post is to say that most people that believe in Jesus will not make it to heaven because they haven't been born again. But Jesus is saying that most people will not make it to heaven because they don't listen to His word. Both truths are valid and in scripture.
Most believers in Jesus will not make it to heaven because they are not real Christians for two reasons. They haven't been born again (Eph. 1:13, 14), and they don't listen to Jesus (Mt. 7:24, 25). Real Christians have been born again and listen to Jesus. In Rev. 22:14 Jesus says that listening to God gives people "the right" to enter heaven ...
Revelation 22:14
Authorized (King James) Version
{Paraphrased}
14 Blessed are they that do God's commandments,
that they may have right to the tree of {eternal} life,
and may enter in through the gates into the city
{New Jerusalem}.
For Clarity
My point in this post is about who Jesus said will go to heaven from Jn. 3:3-8. Jesus' point in Mt. 7:13-27 is about who are real and who are false. In Jn. 3:3-8 Jesus says that only the born again will go to heaven. In Mt. 7:13-27 Jesus says that only those who listen to Him go to heaven, and are also the real Christians. Only real Christians go to heaven. real Christians are born again and listen to Jesus.
An Admonition from the Holy Spirit
"If you believe in Jesus
Do something to show it"
James 2:14-26
Authorized (King James) Version
Faith in Jesus Without Works
Is Dead
14 What doth it profit, my brethren,
though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 and one of you say unto them,
Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled;
notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say,
Thou hast faith, and I have works:
shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man,
that faith without works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works,
when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith,
Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness:
and he was called the Friend of God.
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works,
when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
