A Closer Walk with Jesus
John 14:1-6
Living Bible
{Paraphrased}
1 {And Jesus said} “Let not your heart be troubled.
You are trusting God, now trust in me.
2-3 There are many homes up there where my Father lives,
and I am going to prepare them for your coming.
When everything is ready,
then I will come and get you,
so that you can always be with me where I am.
If this weren’t so,
I would tell you plainly.
4 And you know where I am going and how to get there.”
5 “No, we don’t,” Thomas said.
“We haven’t any idea where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus told him,
“I am the Way—yes, and the Truth and the Life.
No one can get to the Father except by means of me.
Psalm 16:8-11
Living Bible
8 I am always thinking of the Lord;
and because he is so near, I never need to stumble or fall.
9 Heart, body, and soul are filled with joy.
10 For you will not leave me among the dead;
you will not allow your beloved one to rot in the grave.
11 You have let me experience the joys of life
and the exquisite pleasures of your own eternal presence.
Proverbs 12:28
Living Bible
28 The path of the godly leads to life. So why fear death?
Yesterday I put in a prayer request for help from God, for money, a home and a wife. This morning, the Holy Spirit woke me up and told me to ask for a closer walk with Jesus because you are lost if you are not seeking God and are seeking a home, money and a wife instead. When you seek God, you get all that and don't need to ask God for anything. The first step toward God is to seek God and not other things.
When you seek God, that is "the way". The "path of life". From God comes everything you need. God is the source and when you relate to Him, He will provide for you through people and circumstances. You'll never need nothing when you seek God first. Your prayer requests will always be to know God and for a closer walk with Jesus. if you need something, ask for a closer walk with Jesus and not for other things.
God said that the way home to is to know God. To seek God, not needs or supplies. You are "home" with God when you seek God not money, a house or a wife. To seek God is home and the way to God. The first step toward God mis to seek God and not other things.
The thing about this path to God, is that I thought I was on it and that no one can't get on it without God and the church. Only the Lord can put us on this path. Once on it, it is easy to stray from keeping God first. When I asked for things in prayer, God brought me home to His presence. I never lost my baptism into the Holy Spirit or the anointing, but I was lost though saved.
The Lord told me, "Welcome home" after I understood this. I realized that without God's help, we won't make it to God ... stay in contact with church. You don't have to be there due to the plagues and the covid. But we need to be in contact with other Christians with the Spirit. You got phones and computers.
We need God not money. We need God not a home. We need God not a wife. Who are we to request these things when we don't know God and are lost from the way to God?

God the True Value
The Path to Wealth is Knowing God
19 “Don’t store up treasures here on earth where they can erode away or may be stolen.
20 Store them in heaven where they will never lose their value and are safe from thieves.
21 If your profits are in heaven, your heart will be there too.
22 “If your eye is pure, there will be sunshine in your soul.
23 But if your eye is clouded with evil thoughts and desires,
you are in deep spiritual darkness. And oh, how deep that darkness can be!
24 “You cannot serve two masters: God and money.
For you will hate one and love the other, or else the other way around.
25 “So my counsel is:
Don’t worry about things—food, drink, and clothes.
For you already have life and a body—
and they are far more important than what to eat and wear.
26 Look at the birds!
They don’t worry about what to eat—
they don’t need to sow or reap or store up food—
for your heavenly Father feeds them.
And you are far more valuable to him than they are.
27 Will all your worries add a single moment to your life?
28 “And why worry about your clothes?
Look at the field lilies!
They don’t worry about theirs.
29 Yet King Solomon in all his glory was not clothed as beautifully as they.
30 And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow,
won’t he more surely care for you,
O men of little faith?
31-32 “So don’t worry at all about having enough food and clothing.
Why be like the heathen?
For they take pride in all these things and are deeply concerned about them.
But your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them,
33 and he will give them to you if you give him first place in your life and live as he wants you to.
34 “So don’t be anxious about tomorrow.
God will take care of your tomorrow too.
Live one day at a time.
Psalm 23
Living Bible
1 Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need!
2-3 He lets me rest in the meadow grass and leads me beside the quiet streams.
He gives me new strength.
He helps me do what honors him the most.
4 Even when walking through the dark valley of death I will not be afraid,
for you are close beside me,
guarding, guiding all the way.
5 You provide delicious food for me in the presence of my enemies.
You have welcomed me as your guest;
blessings overflow!
6 Your goodness and unfailing kindness shall be with me all of my life,
and afterwards I will live with you forever in your home.
God Listens to You When You Listen to Him
God Hears Your Prayers When You Obey His Word
Isaiah 59:1-3
Authorized (King James) Version
1 Behold,
the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save;
neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
2 but your iniquities have separated between you and your God,
and your sins have hid his face from you,
that he will not hear.
3 For your hands are defiled with blood,
and your fingers with iniquity;
your lips have spoken lies,
your tongue hath muttered perverseness.
James 4:8-10
Authorized (King James) Version
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.
Cleanse your hands, ye sinners;
and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep:
let your laughter be turned to mourning,
and your joy to heaviness.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
I asked God why He left me. He said,
"You left {Me}. You didn't listen to Me when I said to move".
God asked me to move from this state and because I didn't move yet, He made some new plans. He asked me to move to the town where my wife lives and asked me to get her and leave the state with her. That's the plan for June 2025 ...
My point is that when you don't listen to God, He doesn't hear your prayers because He is not first in your heart. You become lost and off the path of God. That's what happened to me, and the thing is that I didn't know it ... when God leaves, you won't know it ...
I called in for prayer because things weren't working ... when I did, the Lord got me back with their prayers and His word, Mt. 6:31-33 ... my point is to say that if you don't want to lose the Lord, if you want to stay on the path of life, the path of God; to keep your fellowship with the Holy Spirit, listen to Him because you won't know you've been removed by the Lord for disobedience. God isn't no joke!
God didn't leave me. The Lord will never leave or forsake us (Heb. 13:5). It was a correction (Heb. 12:5-17). I am used to God hearing my prayers. The Lord led me to that phone call asking for help because He knew I would call in when things went wrong ... that's what I did, and the entrance of His word gave light (Ps. 119:130) ... I saw that I was off the path according to Mt. 6:31-33 ... The Lord will complete His work of getting His people to heaven (Phil. 1:6). He'll never leave us but listen to Him as much as you are able to (Rom. 12:18) ... you'll make it to heaven with God and the Church ... the Lord hid His face from me and stopped hearing my prayers because I didn't listen to Him about moving. But His Spirit did not depart from me as He did Samson (Jud. 16:20). So, don't get those two things confused ... the Lord doesn't leave people no more when we sin since Jesus died for us.

Godly Sorrow That Comes from God's Presence in Music
2 Corinthians 7:8-11
Living Bible
8 I am no longer sorry that I sent that letter to you,
though I was very sorry for a time,
realizing how painful it would be to you.
But it hurt you only for a little while.
9 Now I am glad I sent it,
not because it hurt you but because the pain turned you to God.
It was a good kind of sorrow you felt, the kind of sorrow God wants his people to have,
so that I need not come to you with harshness.
10 For God sometimes uses sorrow in our lives to help us turn away from sin and seek eternal life.
We should never regret his sending it.
But the sorrow of the man who is not a Christian
is not the sorrow of true repentance and does not prevent eternal death.
11 Just see how much good this grief from the Lord did for you!
You no longer shrugged your shoulders but became earnest and sincere and very anxious
to get rid of the sin that I wrote you about.
You became frightened about what had happened and longed for me to come and help.
You went right to work on the problem and cleared it up,
punishing the man who sinned.
You have done everything you could to make it right.
Carman and Keith Green have passed away years ago and are in heaven today with the Lord and the church. Though long dead, I keep their music alive because of the anointing on their music. I love the Presence of God the Holy Spirit that comes when I hear real Christian songs like Carman's and Keith Green's ... I know you feel good too when those tears start flowing when you sense God's Presence coming through this music ... let it out. God is saving you as you hear these songs ... God is love and in His divine Presence you can only cry ... that's what's happening as you hear the music above ... you're getting saved with a dead man's music through the eternal Spirit ... The reason that God's Presence, the Presence of the Holy Spirit, is on Christian music, is because God lives inside the songs of His people. The Holy Spirit comes to live inside of people's bodies for many reasons.
Psalm 22:3
Authorized (King James) Version
3 But thou art holy,
O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
God's Anointing on the Dead in Christ
2 Kings 13:20-21
Living Bible
20-21 So Elisha died and was buried.
In those days bandit gangs of Moabites used to invade the land each spring.
Once some men who were burying a friend spied these marauders
so they hastily threw his body into the tomb of Elisha.
And as soon as the body touched Elisha’s bones,
the dead man revived and jumped to his feet!

World without end. Amen.
