The Narrow Gate
13 “Enter at the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who are going through it,
14 because small is the gate and narrow is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
The religions of the world all say, "all roads lead to God". This means that people who don't know the Bible believe that all religions are equal roads to God. In Mt. 7:13, 14 Jesus says that there is only one road to God. It is a narrow road because it is what the Bibles teaches about coming home to God through faith in Jesus.
It further teaches that there is also the broad road that leads to hell. This broad road is that belief that says that all roads lead to God. No. Only the Bible leads to God because it teaches the truth; that faith in Jesus is the way back to God. Many faiths but only one way to God. Anyone who believes that all roads lead to God are on the broad road straight to hell.
If you want to come home to God, pick up your Bible and start reading it because it's going to prophesy to you about Jesus; that Jesus is the only way to God. Jesus. The road out of hell. And the Holy Spirit will do His work of convincing and convicting you of sin, righteousness and judgement, that Jesus is the only road to God (The Ministry of the Holy Spirit - Jn. 14:26; 15:26; 16:7-15).

Jesus is the only way to God

The Bible teaches that faith in Jesus is the only way to God. This is why Jesus called it the narrow road. It is narrow because it is the only road to God among the broad road to hell. The road to hell is broad because it contains all the false roads to God from all the religions of the world. "All roads lead to God". No. There are not many roads to God. There is only one road to God, Jesus.
One Road Not Two: Life or Death
Death is Not a Road to Anything
Death is not an option in life. There is only road to life and one road to God. The road to God and the road to life are one and the same road and they begin by faith in Jesus. There are not two roads, life or death and life or hell because death and hell are not options in life. There is only road to life and God.
In Genesis 3:1-4 the devil, liar and murderer that he is, Jn. 8:44, got Adam & Eve off the path of life onto the path of death by saying that there were two roads. Knowing God or knowing good and evil.
There is only one path, but the devil got them onto the path of death and killed them by lying that there are two roads. The devil made the path to death look better than the path of God and life; to become gods like God ... the devil made death look like the road to God because he blinded them when he opened their eyes and saw that they were naked (Gen. 3:4-6). They were already on God's path of Life ... they thought death was the path to God and that God's road to life was death ... There are not two roads. Faith in Jesus is the only road of faith that takes you back to God. All the other roads of false faith in God are the broad road that leads to hell. There is no "all roads lead to God" in truth. As Adam and Eve had, you got a choice before you today, life or death. Live forever or die forever. It's inevitable, you want life and good because there is only one road, Jesus Christ.

What the Holy Spirit Means by "to Be Like God"

Simply put, what God is saying here is that to be like God means to be His child. But the devil got it wrong. He lied and said that to be like God means to be your own God like God is. To be "another God". But there is no way to be like that with God.

Lucifer teaches this world about self-consciousness. That there is no God but you. That there is no God. That self is God. God teaches God-consciousness that there is one God (Dt. 6), and we are His offspring (Acts 17:28, 29/ Jn. 1:12, 13/ Rom. 8:14-17/ Gal. 3:26/ 1 Jn. 3:1). Thus, as His offspring, we are gods because He is God. It just means that we are God's children. The devil lies and says that to be like God means to become your own God apart from God; self-deification.
The thing about the devil's lies about being separated from God to be our own god, is that without God inside of us, there is nothing to worship because without God, we are pieces of meat (Rom. 8:5-8/ Gal. 5:17-21/ Jn. 6:63/ Eph. 2:1-3). Animals (Ecc. 3:18-22). There is only one God
(1 Cor. 8:4/ Isa. 43:10, 11; 46:9), and one path of life (Jn. 14:6/ Ps. 16:11/ Mt. 7:13, 14). There is not another life apart from God and there are no other gods. There is only life and death (Dt. 30).
Life apart from God is called eternal death. The lake of fire which is the second death (Rev. 19:20; 20:10-15). The devil lied to Adam & Eve to kill them because to choose another path means you choose death (Gen 2:15-17; 3:1-7). They died. But the devil told them that there is another path of life apart from God. Your "self". The devil keeps man busy trying to use their selves to rule but when they die, they get burned in hell because the other path apart from God is death in the lake of fire. This is called "distraction".
To be a god means to be a part of God. To be a part of someone means to come from them. He is your father. To be God's child means to have a part of Himself inside your body. This is talking about the Holy Spirit living in us (Rom. 8:9). The baptism into the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38, 39; 10:43-48/ 1 Cor. 12:1-11). The Holy Spirit comes upon through faith in Christ (Jn. 3:1-21/ Acts 2:38, 39). faith in Christ comes from reading the Bible (Rom. 10:6-17).
Thus, the devil is a liar and a murderer (Jn. 8:44). There is no other path in life but one. Knowing God. Knowing God is eternal life (Jn. 17:3). There are no other gods. To be a god means to be God's child with His Spirit inside your body (Ps. 82:6). What the devil lies and says to be like God means, is to become like God be deifying yourself.
Note that God is the one who called us "gods" under Him, not the devil (Ps. 82:6). The devil twisted the meaning from God to self. The devil killed us with that lie. He made us think that there was another path, but it was death. There is no other path and no other God besides the God Jesus. The one and only.
The Lord replies,
"That's why I told you not to listen to him. He lies and kills".

Hello,
There are people out there reading this post that want to repent and be ready to meet Jesus when He comes back. Not everyone who reads this will be left by Jesus just because they're looking at their watches, instead of at Jesus in the word. Jesus has not returned yet, and there is still time to repent to be ready for Jesus on His time.

Got it? What the Holy Spirit is saying in this passage is that to get saved, you need to do verses 9 and 10 highlighted in bold case above. That is, confess with your mouth the scriptures about Jesus being the Lord of sin and death because you believe them, and you will be saved from sin and death by that faith in Jesus that came from your mouth from what the Bible says about Him dying and rising from the dead for our sins.
The Holy Spirit is telling us in this passage that if you want to believe in Jesus and be saved from sin and death, then read what the Bible says about Him, because faith in Jesus comes, or is created in your heart and mouth, when you read the Bible. Read what the Bible says about the Lord Jesus in the New Testament, and you will be saved when you tell God and this world that you believe what the Bible says about Jesus. To do this is called the Confession of the Word of Faith in Christ, and the Sinner's Prayer. Let me lead you in the Sinner's Prayer.

"Lord Jesus. I believe in You. I believe that you died for my sins and rose from the dead
and that you are alive today right here with me now as I tell you that I believe in You.

Get your dusty Bible out and read John, Acts and Romans in the New Testament while you listen to the Playlist below...and know that the tears that flood your eyes when you pray the Sinner's Prayer are coming from the Presence of God. That's God the Holy Spirit you're sensing and that's why you're crying as you pray this prayer ... God is love (1 Jn. 4:7, 8) and when you meet Him, you can't but cry around Him.
