The Harvest of the Earth
14 I looked. And there was a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like a Son of Man, having on his head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.
15 Then another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “Thrust in Your sickle and reap. The time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” 16 So He who sat on the cloud thrust His sickle on the earth, and the earth was harvested.
17 Another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven. He also had a sharp sickle.
18 Yet another angel who had authority over fire came out from the altar. He cried with a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe.”
19 The angel thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vintage of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20 The winepress was trampled outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, up to the horses’ bridles, for one hundred and eighty-six miles.

Jesus the Rider on the White Horse
11 I saw heaven opened. And there was a white horse. He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war.
12 His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on His head are many crowns. He has a name written, that no one knows but He Himself.
13 He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood. His name is called The Word of God.
14 The armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Out of His mouth proceeds a sharp sword, with which He may strike the nations. “He shall rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury and wrath of God the Almighty. 16 On His robe and on His thigh He has a name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
The Marriage and the Wrath Happen on the Same Day
Grapes make wine, and wine is served at weddings and ceremonies (Jn. 2:1-11). Grapes represent love & marriage, not wrath. Grapes & wine are for marriages to celebrate life with God. In the opening passages above, we see God and Jesus treading out the grapes of love in wrath.
God tells me that this means that Jesus' marriage to the church happens on the day that He returns. The marriage precedes the wrath, but it happens on the same day because the grapes for the marriage are trodden out by God's Son in wrath.
The same grapes used for the marriage, are trodden out in God's wrath. This means that the marriage and the wrath happen on the same day, and that the wrath is part of the marriage. So, there is no seven-year period between the rapture and marriage and the return and wrath of Jesus.
Imagine Jesus stepping on grapes to turn them into wine ... treading out the winepress of God's wrath ... this is showing us that His day of wrath, or the return of Jesus, happens on the same day as the rapture and marriage of Jesus to the church. The wrath happens so quickly after the rapture that Jesus uses the grapes for the marriages of the church to tread out in wrath on the world.
The Lord says "Thus", the conclusion is that the day of Jesus' wrath/ return is the marriage supper of Jesus. The marriage goes all day and into the night when He destroys the people of the earth and calls the birds of the air to eat their flesh. The wrath is the marriage supper.
This is what Revelation 14: 19, 20 mean when they say that the angel thrust in its sickle to reap the grape harvest of the earth and threw it into God's winepress, which God's Son, our Lord Jesus, will tread out for God in God's wrath in Revelation 19:15. Verse 20 says that this grape harvest is people; God's enemies killed by the Lord Jesus in a war; God's wrath. These people are the enemies of God in Revelation 19:21, pasted below.

19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to wage war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.
20 But the beast was captured and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshipped his image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with brimstone.
21 The remnant were slain with the sword which proceeded out of the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds gorged themselves with their flesh.

The Promise of the Lord’s Coming
1 This is now, beloved, the second epistle I am writing to you, in which I am stirring up your sincere minds by way of reminder,
2 that you should remember the words that were spoken previously by the holy prophets and the commandment of our Lord and Savior spoken through us, the apostles.
3 Know this first, that there shall come scoffers in the last days who walk after their own lusts, 4 and say, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things have continued as they were since the beginning of the creation.”
5 For they willingly ignore that, by the word of God the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed standing out of the water and in the water,
6 by which the world that then existed was flooded with water and perished.
7 But by the same word, the heavens and the earth that now exist are being reserved for fire, kept for the Day of Judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
8 But, beloved, do not be ignorant of this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness. But He is patient with us, because He does not want any to perish, but all to come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat. The earth also and the works that are in it will be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things are to be destroyed, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,
12 while you are waiting for and desiring the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens will be destroyed by fire and the elements will be consumed by intense heat?
13 But, according to His promise, we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.
14 Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these things, be diligent that you may be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless.
15 Keep in mind that the patience of our Lord means salvation, even as our beloved brother Paul has also written to you according to the wisdom given to him.
16 As in all his letters, he writes about these things, in which some things are hard to understand, which the unlearned and unstable distort, as they also do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
17 You therefore, beloved, since you know these things beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own firm footing, being led away by the deception of the wicked.
18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory, both now and forever. Amen.
